We Are One Youth Volunteer Group Gifts 700 Blood Donation Certificates for Leukaemia Patients

“Leukaemia treatment can last several weeks, so there are cases where a lot of blood donation certificates are needed. We are very grateful for your active participation.”
Eun-young Lee, co-representative of the Korean Leukaemia Patients' Association, said this at the blood donation certificate gifting ceremony, held at the office of the Korean Leukaemia Patients' Association in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul on the afternoon of the 11th December.
Throughout 2024, the We Are Red Division of the We Are One Youth Volunteer Group has consistently donated blood to help patients with leukaemia receive smooth treatment.
On the 11th, the Seoul-Gyeonggi Northern Branch of the We Are One Youth Volunteer Group gifted 700 blood donation certificates in person.
This gift of blood donation certificates was carried out as part of the 'We Are Red' blood donation campaign, which aims to practise the value of sharing life through blood donation.
This year alone, over 52,000 donors of the We Are Red division have given blood. It seems that a sustainable blood donation culture is being established in Korea.
