ManHee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Visits Shincheonji Incheon Church… Endless ‘Passion’ Even at 93
On Sunday, 1st December, Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus visited the Incheon Church of the Matthew Tribe and led service with 1600 believers in attendance.
This year alone, Chairman Lee has visited more than 60 churches throughout Korea, calling for pastors and believers alike to confirm the prophecy and fulfilled reality of Revelation, emphasising that we have entered the “era of fulfilment” in which the Book of Revelation, the last prophecy of the Bible, has been revealed.
Whenever Chairman Lee leads service at one of the branches of Shincheonji Church, he strives to help the believers to reflect on the essence of faith.
On that day, Chairman Lee took to the pulpit and said, “We do not believe without purpose,” and “We believe in the promises God made in the Bible, and those promises have meaning and purpose.” He continued, “The history of restoration that God has been doing all comes to an end in the Book of Revelation. In Revelation 22, it says that if you add or subtract anything from the words, you will not be able to enter heaven and will be cursed.” He emphasised, “Therefore, the Book of Revelation must be fulfilled exactly as it is written, like a seal. Above all, these words must be fulfilled in you.”
The Chairman also emphasised, “You must fully understand how God’s work begins and how it is carried out.”
Lastly, he said, “I am who the Bible says I am, and whether or not I am in this Bible is important,” and urged, “From now on, when we have faith, let us pray together and create a better world. Let us become one in heart and mind in Jesus.”
The believers responded that they were able to deepen their faith and grow further through the words of the Chairman. One Shincheonji believer expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the fact that Chairman Lee did not give up and delivered the revealed word despite over 40 years of persecution, we are now able to learn and understand.”
The passion of Chairman ManHee Lee, who is 94 years of age, comes from his sincerity in faith and ministry. His ministry is not limited to the growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, but focuses on bringing about positive and harmonious changes in the entire church community.
