Chairman ManHee Lee Visits Yangsan Church, “Seeing the Bible Fulfilled and Believing is True Faith”
“True faith is to confirm and believe that the things recorded in the Bible actually fulfil and take place”
With such conviction, Chairman ManHee Lee emphasised the importance of a 'Bible-centred faith' during a sermon to around 1800 of the faithful gathered at the Yangsan Church of the Busan James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as 'Shincheonji Yangsan Church') at Sunday service on the 8th December.
On that day and full of anticipation for the words of the Bible, the congregants lined up along a 1km stretch from the nearby train station to the church entrance, cheering and waving placards and balloons to welcome the Chairman's arrival.
Then, taking to the pulpit, Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus who is 94 years of age, emphasised that “the Bible is the law of heaven,” and that “seeing the Bible fulfil and believing in the actual fulfilment of it is true faith.”
Chairman Lee then said that one should not stop at knowing the contents written in parables and metaphors throughout the Bible, but “we should also properly understand the reality that has fulfilled and appeared as a reality.”
Chairman Lee continued, “No one knew about the book of Revelation for 2000 years, but today we live in an era where we can see its true nature firsthand,” and explained in detail the fulfilment of the Bible’s prophecies.
Finally, he said, “Today, we must become one with everyone, and love them like family. That is the basis of filial piety,” and urged, “Let us first start with ourselves, and let us all become God’s family acknowledged before God.”
Meanwhile, in this year alone, Chairman Lee has visited over 60 churches domestically to listen to the voices of the faithful and create a better religious environment for them, despite being 94 years of age. His love for God and the congregation serves as an inspiration to believers and lay citizens everywhere.
