A total of 234 volunteers participated in this campaign, which consisted of street cleaning and making EM soil balls, and collected 500 liters (ℓ) of trash, 2,800 kg of fallen leaves, and 300 liters (ℓ) of weeds.
In particular, in the environmental campaign held at the northern plaza of Bucheon Station on May 18, about 160 citizens participated in purifying the water quality of Gulpocheon and protecting the environment, drawing active interest from local residents.
A citizen who was walking along Gulpocheon said, “I have noticed that the water is getting cleaner since the EM soil ball activity. As a resident who frequently visits Gulpocheon, I am grateful for these efforts.”
