Shincheonji Volunteer Group Bucheon Branch Honoured with Chairman's Award for Dedicated Volunteer Work

| The Bucheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is taking a commemorative photo after receiving a commendation from the Bucheon City Council Chairman at the 2024 Gyeonggi Provincial Welfare Association for the Disabled Inauguration Ceremony held on the 19th. |
“The warm dedication of volunteers is making Bucheon a better city to live in. I hope you will continue to carry out activities for the local community in the future.”
These are the words of Bucheon City Council Chairman Byeong-jeon Kim upon presenting an award to the Bucheon Branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group (hereinafter referred to as the Bucheon Branch), in recognition of its service this year, at the '2024 Gyeonggi Provincial Welfare Association for the Disabled Inauguration Ceremony' held at the Bucheon Chaerim Wedding Hall on the 19th.
The Bucheon Branch received this commendation for its dedicated activities for the local community. Their main activities include ‘Green Nature’, a wetland preservation and environmental purification campaign, ‘Pinky Promise’, a volunteer activity for harmony between people with disability and people without, and ‘More the Better’, a companion plant-sharing volunteer work that spans generations and classes.
Bucheon Branch Director Tae-yeon Kim, who received the award as a representative, said, “We will continue to create a society where everyone becomes one through volunteer activities, transcending the boundaries of disability beyond generation and class.”
