Shincheonji Gwangju Church Hosts 'Peter's Heavenly Culture Academy' to Build Youth Potential
“I hope that through this academy, our children will build good relationships with their peers and learn to be considerate and cooperative with each other.”
These are the words of the head of the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Peter Tribe) at the 'Peter's Heavenly Culture Academy Expo' on the 8th December.
The programme is designed to help young people discover their potential and grow into healthy members of society during the year-end and winter vacations.
The 'Peter's Heavenly Culture Academy' was established to provide 2500 students from the Shincheonji Gwangju Church Youth and Student Departments with an opportunity to utilise their time during the winter holidays meaningfully and discover their own potential.
The 'Peter's Heavenly Culture Academy' is run through talent donations from church members who are involved in cultural activities and clubs.
The recruitment target is primary, middle, and secondary school students, and a total of 471 people will be recruited. The course period will be 6 weeks from January 6th to February 21st, 2025.
A housekeeper with a middle school daughter said at the fair, “During the holidays, children’s lives tend to be disrupted and filled with games and sleeping, but I think it could be a time for children to have fun learning and growing while interacting with their peers through culture and sports. I would like to recommend it to my child.”
