On the 19th, the Jecheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is carrying out a hairdressing service for veterans at the Jecheon City Veterans' Association Hall
“I don't have any special memories of Christmas because I've only worked throughout my life. I think today's event will be the most memorable Christmas.

A member of a veterans' group who participated in the 'Company' volunteer service held by the Jecheon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group (hereinafter referred to as the Jecheon Branch) at the Jecheon City Veterans' Association Hall, said this on the 19th.

The Jecheon branch's 'Company' is a regular volunteer activity held monthly with the purpose of adding joy and vitality to the lives of senior members of the Jecheon City veterans' organisations.

On that day, the Jecheon branch decorated a Christmas tree, providing hair and beauty services, and wrote New Year's wish cards and hanged them on the tree.

In particular, the process of writing New Year's wish cards and decorating the tree provided an opportunity for seniors to to develop concentration and hand-eye coordination, communicate and build friendships, creating an emotional bond and a sense of accomplishment.

A Jecheon branch official said, “We will continue to work to help seniors regain their self-esteem and vitality in life through various activities.”
