Shincheonji Volunteer Group Mokpo Branch Hosts 'Beautiful Seniors' Christmas Festival
“It was a great feeling to see an elderly person who was always expressionless smile.”
These are the words of a member of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Mokpo Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Mokpo Branch) who participated in the 'Beautiful Seniors' Christmas Festival to bring year 2024 to a joyful close.
'Beautiful Seniors' is a volunteer activity of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group that promotes a healthy and happy retirement for seniors under the slogan, ‘One beautiful day is wonderful enough.’
On that day, the Mokpo Branch decorated the venue with a Christmas tree and balloons and prepared a time of song and dance for the guests.
The Mokpo Branch also presented activities from the past year through a video presentation.
An official of the Mokpo branch said, “I haven't had much time to enjoy and volunteer with the seasoned population, but today I feel like I've become really close to them.”
