The Shincheonji Volunteer Group was founded in the Republic of Korea to break down the barriers of conflict found within class, gender, religion, and politics, and unite hearts and minds by putting the teachings received from heaven into practice for the growth and development of local communities.
This year, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Seoul-Gyeonggi Southern Branch toiled to lend a helping hand to their neighbours.

There are eight volunteer projects that the Seoul-Gyeonggi Southern Branch is focusing on: 'More the Better', where volunteers deliver companion plants they have lovingly grown to neighbours in need of emotional support; 'Green Nature', an environmental purification activity to pass down a beautiful environment as a legacy to posterity; 'Beautiful Seniors' to support a happy and healthy retirement; 'Pinky Promise', which promotes communication and harmony between people with disabilities and people without; 'Shoulder Comrades', which provides hair and beauty treatments and coal briquette delivery for low-income households; 'Wall Story', an urban regeneration project that restores dilapidated walls; 'Visiting Health Doctor', a free medical service for foreign workers and low-income households; and 'Pink Cloth', where healthy meals are prepared and delivered to low-income households.
In recognition of their efforts to practise love for their neighbour and regional development, the Seoul-Southern Gyeonggi Branch received mayoral awards from Suwon City and Pyeongtaek City.
