Since January, the Daejeon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group has been sharing warm love with the local community by regularly donating food to the ‘Sharing Fridge’ located in the Gayang 1-dong and Seongnam-dong administrative welfare centers in Dong-gu, Daejeon.
The 'Sharing Refrigerator' is a space where neighbors in need can freely take food, and the Daejeon branch fills it with groceries and side dishes to help neighbors with their eating habits.
This activity is part of the various volunteer activities that the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Daejeon Branch has been consistently carrying out, and it is sparing no support to provide practical help to the needy neighbors in the local community.
In particular, in January of this year, the 22nd Neighborly Love Coal Briquette Sharing event was held in Daedong, Dong-gu, Daejeon, and 2,000 briquettes were delivered to 6 households, helping them have a warm winter.
In addition, the Daejeon branch is contributing to the formation of a warm community by practicing love and sharing in the local community through various activities such as the 'Good Donation, Good Consumption' campaign and the 'Dadaikseon' volunteer project, which aims to heal emotions through the sharing of companion plants.
An official from the Daejeon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group said, “We plan to continue to help the local community through various volunteer activities, including the sharing refrigerator,” and “We will do our best to provide practical help to our marginalized neighbors and create a warm community where we can live together.”
