“We will work with the members of the Shincheonji Paju Church, who are full of the Word, to make our own church an even better one.”
On the 22nd October, Pastor Lee, who has been active in pastoring at a church affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of Korea in Paju City, said this after changing the church signage to Shincheonji Church of Jesus at a 'Signboard Replacement Agreement and Signboard Unveiling Ceremony' held at the Presbyterian church.
To address the reality of the declining number of seminarians and church members, Pastor Lee sought an opportunity for revival and recalled that the church received significant support from the members of Shincheonji Paju Church, in areas including Christian counselling and prayer. As a result, the number of members at the Presbyterian church steadily increased, and the spiritual growth of existing members was also achieved.
Encouraged by this result, the pastor held the ceremony at the Presbyterian church on the 22nd.
In response, the head lecturer of the Shincheonji Paju Church said, “I hope that many pastors will teach the revealed word so that the churches will be revived.”
