On the 24th December 2024, after the blood donation ceremony of the We Are One Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of Youth Volunteers, the secretary general of the We Are One Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch, and the director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Centre, are taking a commemorative photo.
“During the off-season when blood supply is difficult, the blood donation by We Are One played a big role in alleviating the difficulties in the medical field and spreading the culture of sharing in the local community.”

This is what the Director of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Blood Center Seong-sik Ji said at the closing ceremony of the 'We Are Red 2024 Blood Donation Campaign' held on the 24th December 2024.

The We Are Red blood donation campaign of We Are One, named 'The Miracle Moment', was initiated in 2022 to save lives by donating blood one donor at a time, celebrating the moment when a person gains life through blood donation, the moment when the blood supply crisis is overcome, and the moment when a life-saving blood donation culture is established.

On the 24th of last month, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of We Are One received the 'Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Center Director Award' in recognition of its consistent service, exceeding its blood donation goal for two consecutive years and achieving 110% of its goal of 3130 people by having 3458 people participate in blood donation in 2024 alone. Moreover, the ₩21,733,500 (c.£11,000) raised through blood donation vouchers chosen by participants when donating blood will be donated to places in need, such as supporting vulnerable groups in the region and providing scholarships.

Member Ju-ho Yeo (29, male, Daegu City), who was selected as an excellent blood donor, said that he first participated in the blood donation service in 2022 after hearing that blood donation was needed for the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. He shook off his fear and prejudice about donating blood, and now says,  “I’m about to donate blood for the 12th time. If there’s anyone who’s hesitating, I urge them to check their own health and try donating blood to save others.”

Meanwhile, We Are One is a youth volunteer organisation comprised of 90,000 youth volunteers from Korea.

A congratulatory performance is being held during the 'Pyeongtaek 2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar' held at the Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church in Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province on the 29th.

On the 29th, believers are listening to the sermon at the 'Pyeongtaek 2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar' held at the Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church in Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province
“Now is the time of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation. Believers and pastors who hope for heaven and salvation, please check it out for yourselves.”

With conviction, ManHee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, said this at the 'Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Bible Seminar' held on the 29th. This seminar marks the final of the nationwide sweep of seminars on Revelation in 2024.

To an audience of 4000 people, including 100 pastors from the Gyeonggi Province, church members, and everyday citizens gathered inside the main sanctuary of the Pyeongtaek Church of the John Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church), Chairman ManHee Lee preached for about an hour and a half about the reality of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation and the importance of biblical faith without even taking a sip of water.

Chairman Lee first read Revelation 22:18-19 and outlined the importance of not adding to or taking away from the Book of Revelation in order to enter heaven, and of learning from someone who is well-versed in the Book of Revelation.

Chairman Lee emphasised, “We, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, have experienced everything written in the Book of Revelation. These are not words we made up ourselves. We have seen and testified to all the realities of the entire Book of Revelation.”

Towards the pastors, Chairman Lee said, “Pastors, many believers are following you to receive salvation. Shouldn’t you at least master this Book of Revelation for the sake of your beloved believers?”

Finally, the Chairman appealed again, “I would like to say this once more to pastors and believers around the world. The reality of the Revelation that you have been waiting and hoping for is happening in Korea today. Please confirm this. I cannot help but tell you. Please confirm this.”

About 3000 believers line up about 500 metres around the church to welcome the Chairman and the attendees. They also expressed their welcome in various ways, such as with a flag bearer, military band, drum troupe, and samulnori.
Several pastors were seen reading the Book of Revelation while opening their Bibles during the lecture. Pastor Yoo, who has been a pastor in the Presbyterian Church for over 20 years, said, “Protestant churches persecute Shincheonji Church of Jesus, but after hearing the word directly, I couldn’t persecute them,” and “I couldn’t help but acknowledge that this Chairman is the pastor who has come according to the promise. These are words that every Christian should follow.”

To welcome the Chairman and the attendees, about 3000 believers lined up about 500 metres around the church to welcome them. They also expressed their welcome in various ways, such as with a flag bearer, military band, drum troupe, and samulnori.

Meanwhile, in this year alone, Chairman Lee has visited nearly 80 churches domestically to listen to the voices of the faithful and create a better religious environment for them. The Chairman's love for God and the congregation serves as an inspiration to believers everywhere.

“I have sensibly navigated the challenges of adolescence and found what I truly want to do. I will live a proper life of faith and be more faithful to my studies and band practice in order to pursue aspirations as a future composer.”

These are the aspirations expressed by Jaehyuk Kwon (15, Gimpo), a congregation member of the Gimpo Church of the Bartholomew Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as the Shincheonji Gimpo Church), after he overcame the challenges of adolescence through music and faith at the Shincheonji Gimpo Church.

Kwon experienced severe mood swings in his first year of middle school and he had frequent conflicts with his parents. However, things changed when he joined the music band at the recommendation of a church teacher.

With consistent practice, he regained his confidence by performing with the band at school festivals and church events. Kwon said, “Thanks to music, the anxieties of my mind have found much relief.”

Church band activities also changed Kwon’s communication skills. It was difficult at first, but as he naturally shared his concerns with the teacher, he received advice on his relationships with friends and his studies.

In the words of an official, Shincheonji Gimpo Church is committed to “helping young people to honestly share their problems and grow healthily through music and religious activities.”

2024 Zion Christian Pastoral Mission Centre Class Scene

“I had no choice but to acknowledge according to the Bible that there has been a saviour in every era, and that today, there is a messenger sent for the churches according to Revelation 22:16.”

Pastor Choi, who has been a Methodist pastor for 17 years, said this after completing the 'Zion Christian Pastoral Mission Centre' operated by the Simon Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which is held 2-3 times a week in Seoul. About 120 pastors, elders and evangelists have taken the course since June of last year.

The 8-month course provides an intensive education on the Book of Revelation, focusing on the meaning of every chapter and verse of the Book of Revelation and the actual fulfilment that has appeared in reality.

Pastor Kang, who served as a Presbyterian pastor for 24 years and recently studied at the Zion Pastoral Mission Centre, said, “I was surprised to learn that the entire Book of Revelation could be understood based on actual events (fulfilment).”

He acknowledged that the most challenging aspect of learning was acknowledging the promised pastor of the New Testament. He said, “I went to the Bible conference held at the Cheongpyeong Peace Training Institute to see Chairman ManHee Lee, who is taught by Shincheonji Church of Jesus today as the promised pastor,” and “I was convinced that he was truly the promised pastor when I saw him preaching the entire Book of Revelation without drinking a sip of water or looking at the Bible even once at the age of 93.”

The Book of Revelation is, perhaps, the greatest biblical mystery that no one in the Christian world could solve. Indeed, the many interpretations put forward by pastors and theologians over the years have only served to increase its ambiguity.

Therefore, the clear testimony of the fulfilment of the prophecies of the Book of Revelation, which have appeared in reality today in South Korea, is a beacon of light in the religious world. At present, several pastors who have completed the Zion Christian Mission Centre course - and even changed church signs to Shincheonji Church of Jesus - are actively recommending the centre to their fellow pastors based on their understanding of the Bible.

“Jesus bore the cross to save humanity from sin, fulfilled the Old Testament, and prophesied about the future. And today, with the fulfilment of what was prophesied, the path of life has been opened.”

ManHee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony said this at the ‘Christmas Service’ sermon held at the Shincheonji Suwon Church on the 25th. The sermon focused on the powerful message that Jesus came to bear our sins, offering us the gift of eternal life.

On that day, a total of 13,800 people, including pastors, church members, and citizens, gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the true meaning of Christmas.

In his sermon that day, Chairman Lee emphasised that we should not forget to be thankful for Jesus' return today, the time of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation, shedding His blood to atone for our sins, and that we should have faith according to the Bible.

The Chairman said, “God has also worked to save the human world, and Jesus also carried out God’s will and took upon himself the sins of the world, so Jesus saved us.” He continued, “That is why the world today celebrates the birthday of Jesus.” He added, “If Jesus had not taken upon himself the sins of the world, the whole world would have been destroyed because of sin, just like in the days of Noah.”

The Chairman emphasised, “Our (believers’) purpose is to enter heaven. That is why we have walked until today without hesitation despite persecution.”

He continued, “What Shincheonji Church of Jesus is testifying to is not something that will come true, but the fulfilled reality of prophecy,” and added, “If we cannot confirm the actual fulfilled reality of the Book of Revelation, it is because we have not believed within the Bible, but rather have believed outside of the Bible.”

He concluded his sermon by urging the pastors in attendance that day, “All pastors must teach the congregation the truth about the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation.”

Pastor Kim, a Baptist who attended the service amidst the great welcome of the congregation, said, “It was a time to think deeply about the meaning of Christmas, not just a simple celebration, and I was also able to acquire knowledge about how to lead the congregation’s faith.” He added, “It was a moving time that brought great comfort in a chaotic and noisy world.”

As we remember the birth of Christ, let’s also remember His message of hope, love, and salvation. Shincheonji is committed to spreading this message with others, building unity, and sharing the truth of the Bible with the world.

“Every time I passed by this alley, it was dirty and gloomy, but thanks to the pretty murals, it has become so beautiful. It’s like being in a fairy tale land.”

This is the impression of a local resident who witnessed the 'Wall Story' activity conducted by the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Masan Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Masan Branch) on a factory wall in Changwon Special City from November 19th to December 10th.

'Wall Story' is one of the three major projects of Shincheonji Volunteer Group in South Korea. It is an urban regeneration project that restores dilapidated murals through drawings and paintings, depicting characteristics specific to local regions and the stories of local residents. The themes and pictures designed on the murals are decorated at the request of the beneficiaries.

About 90 members of the Masan branch repaired a 75m-long wall and used paint to create a bright and hopeful mural with a blue sea theme.

In particular, this volunteer work focused on improving the poor environment of Sogye-dong, which is full of narrow back roads and densely packed factories.

Small lights were also installed in previously dark and gloomy alleyways to prevent crime and create a safe environment for returning home.

The head of the Masan branch, said, “I hope that this volunteer work will be appreciated beyond its simple aesthetic effect as a space that provides positive energy to local residents.”

The Shincheonji Volunteer Group is vividly shown mixing seasoning into cabbage for the kimchi sharing event on the 19th. The volunteers are wearing yellow vests, sanitary caps, and masks as they make kimchi with both hygiene and sincerity. The volunteers' hands are quick and skillful as they meticulously mix the cabbage with seasoning from their respective positions. The large bowl next to them is filled with red seasoning, and the cabbage is gradually transformed into delicious kimchi.

“I think I will be able to spend this winter warmly thanks to the kimchi that was prepared with care.”

This expression of gratitude was made by a senior citizen living alone who received kimchi at the 'Sharing Kimchi With Love' event held by the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Masan Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Masan branch) on the 19th.

This kimchi-sharing event, which garnered the support of local businesses and organisations, was prepared with 200 heads of cabbage, carefully pickled by 25 volunteers. The end result was 80 boxes of kimchi gifted to low-income households in the neighbourhood in the lead up to a cold winter.

The head of the Masan branch said, “We are very happy that we can deliver a little warmth to the local community through this event.”

About me

About Me
Our world is being devastated by injustice, hunger, poverty, child slavery, persecution, genocide and war. Although we do our best to help alleviate one another’s suffering through individuals acts of volunteerism or monetary contributions, is this actually creating lasting change that can help humanity? Did you know that religious misunderstanding is the cause of 80% of wars? What if there is a plan to restore this world? Will you listen to it? Peace no longer needs to remain a dream. Let’s re-create this world together as a lasting legacy for our children and future generations
