What is the 'Book Sealed with Seven Seals' in Revelation 5:1?
📰The Bible is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed books in history, yet it is also considered to be among the least understood. The Bible, which is referred to as the New Covenant and Promise of God, in which 'the way to heaven and salvation' is presented, differs in theologians' interpretations that make it difficult to understand. These differing interpretations have been the cause of the rise of denominations with each one establishing their own doctrine. With the increase in online church services and gatherings resulting from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there has been growing interest in the comparison of various church doctrine. This paper, therefore, attempts to provide readers with the opportunity to compare differing Biblical teachings without interpretation. Among a host of online sermons and Bible-based teachings, the contrasting doctrine between the established Church and Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has drawn public interest throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, is hereby compared and summarised. Best efforts have been made to provide a summary of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' understanding of the Bible. Judgment as to what is right or wrong is left to the reader’s discernment.

If you read Revelation 5, you will find a book sealed with seven seals in the right hand of God. The established Church sometimes interprets this as the land registry in the Garden of Eden that was handed over to the devil. Is this the Biblical understanding?

In Revelation 5:1, there is a book sealed in God's right hand. Jesus takes this book, and after opening the seals one by one in Revelation 6 and 8, the book is opened and given to Apostle John through an angel.

'When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour (Rev 8:1).'
Apostle John receives the opened book in Revelation 10 from the angel, eats it, and hears a voice telling him to preach it to people, nations, languages and kings.
‘Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand.. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land (Rev. 10:1~2).'
“So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll...It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour (Rev. 10:8-10).'
'Then I was told, 'You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings' (Revelation 10:11).
However, when Jesus opened this book, what appeared was not the content of the land registry, but the content recorded within the book of Revelation. That means that the reality had been revealed according to the promise recorded in the book of Revelation.
If this book that Jesus opened is the land registry of the lost Garden of Eden, does it mean that Jesus, who repossesses this land registry, is now in the Garden of Eden? Or was John, who took the open book and ate it, in the Garden of Eden? The reason why it is wrong to say that this book is a land registry in the Garden of Eden is because neither Jesus nor John were in the Garden of Eden when this book was opened.
The time when Jesus opened this book and gave it to John was the time when the book of Revelation was fulfilled, but at the time of the creation of the Garden of Eden, the book of Revelation was not even recorded. This teaching is based on the Bible.
Only those who have seen and heard what happened at the location of the fulfilment of the events of Revelation, that is, those who have witnessed it, can testify to their reality. Anyone who adds or subtracts from the words of Revelation proves that he or she is a false shepherd whom Satan and the devil are with.

"When the Israelites sold land, they signed a contract, sealed it, and stamped it. It was then stored in the temple archives. Revelation 5 - what kind of land registry is this scroll in God's right hand? This land registry recorded land that God gave to Adam before he fell. Because Adam disobeyed God, possession of this land was passed on to the devil. God had transferred the registration to the devil.
The registered documents were sealed and entered into the archives of the temple of God. Jesus will take back this land. The condition for taking the land back is that they must be close relatives of mankind and not descendants of Adam.
You must also have the power to take the land, and you must want to take over the land. Since Jesus met these four conditions, the devil cannot give up the land that Adam passed on to the devil."
