[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Hye-ji Lim] Chairman Man-hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Church of Jesus) opened the first of a series of seminars entitled 'Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of God's New Covenant, Revelation', on the 18th October, to testify the meaning of the prophecies and their fulfilled realities recorded in the Book of Revelation. This seminar, which will be released worldwide through YouTube every Monday and Thursday at 10am until December 27th, began with a lecture on Revelation Chapter 1 by Chairman Lee, and will continue with lectures by the 12 tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, one lesson in succession up to Revelation chapter 22.
◆“Preaching this word to the world as a witness who has seen and heard and can testify the fulfilment of Revelation”
At the beginning of the lecture, Chairman Lee said, “This man is not preaching these words to the world arbitrarily; it's because God and Jesus said, ‘Go and tell the churches what you have seen and heard'. So that is what I am doing".
He continued, “No one has known about the book of Revelation for the last 2,000 years since it was written, but because this prophecy has been fulfilled, I have to tell you about what I have seen, heard and done.” He added, "Please contact me to ask any questions at any time.”
However, Chairman Lee said, “Many people cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who hear the word of Revelation, confirm its reality, and believe in it, are those with perfect faith who can welcome the Second Coming of the Lord and enter the kingdom of heaven.”
In particular, he urged religious leaders to “confirm and believe (it) so that we can come together and serve God together in heaven, and live eternally.”
◆ “Revelation means to open and show” - detailed explanation of the concept of prophecy and fulfilment
Chairman Lee said, "Revelation means to 'open and show'. In Revelation 5, there is a book in God's right hand, sealed with seven seals, that no one can see inside. Jesus took this book, broke its seven seals, opened it and showed it. John saw all this in vision.”
"Regarding the phrase, 'God sent his angel to his servant John to make known to the servants what must soon take place', the 'what must soon take place' is the fulfilment of the prophecies of Revelation, and the servants are the sealed 144,000 of the 12 tribes.”
In reference to the scripture pertaining to John who 'testifies to everything he saw - that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ', Chairman Lee explained that the promised pastor of God who preaches the book of Revelation is John, and that the Spirit of Jesus has come and is with him.
The letters to the seven churches in verse 4 refers to the contents of Revelation chapters 2 and 3. He explained that these were not letters he wrote to the seven actual churches in Asia, but to the seven messengers that Jesus had him write letters to at the Second Coming.
Chairman Lee explained the mystery of the seven messengers and the seven golden lampstands in verses 19 and 20, and continued on with the explanation of the Prostitute in Revelation 17, the mystery of the beast with seven heads and ten horns, and the mystery of the seventh trumpet in Revelation 10.
Lastly, Chairman Manhee Lee repeatedly urged, “Record today's sermon, analyse it step-by-step, and verify it. Let's all become one family under God and Jesus."
Meanwhile, the series of seminars 'Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of God's New Covenant, Revelation' will be held in succession, from Revelation 1 to 22, and will conclude with a special lecture by Chairman Lee on December 27th.
