How and When Will Jesus' Promised 'Time of Harvest' Appear?

by - 21:40

📰The Bible is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed books in history, yet it is also considered to be among the least understood. The Bible, which is referred to as the New Covenant and Promise of God, in which 'the way to heaven and salvation' is presented, differs in theologians' interpretations that make it difficult to understand. These differing interpretations have been the cause of the rise of denominations with each one establishing their own doctrine. With the increase in online church services and gatherings resulting from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there has been growing interest in the comparison of various church doctrine. This paper, therefore, attempts to provide readers with the opportunity to compare differing Biblical teachings without interpretation. Among a host of online sermons and Bible-based teachings, the contrasting doctrine between the established Church and Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has drawn public interest throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, is hereby compared and summarised. Best efforts have been made to provide a summary of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' understanding of the Bible. Judgment as to what is right or wrong is left to the reader’s discernment.

"The time of harvest is the gathering of the good seed that was sown. The weeds are evidence of those who have not been harvested and remain in the field"
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony

The Biblical harvest is not a physical harvest, but a spiritual harvest. About 2600 years ago, God prophesied through the prophet Jeremiah that there would be a day when the seed of man and the seed of animal (beast) would be sown in the houses of Israel and Judah. Since there are two gods, there are two seeds. It took 600 years to preach Jeremiah's prophecy to physical Israel.

When this prophecy was fulfilled in Matthew 13:24-25, the good seed, which is the word of heaven (Luke 8:11) was sown through Jesus. On the other hand, the seed of weeds that Satan and the devil sowed through the Pharisees, Sadducees and Teachers of the Law are the words of the devil. The reason why the weeds are referred to as the seed of 'animal' is because Satan and the devil are figuratively referred to as the ‘dragon’ and ‘serpent’. The Pharisees were called ‘vipers’, so they became the seed of the animal. The field where these two seeds are sown is Jesus’ Church. Two seeds are sown in Jesus’ Church and they grow together until the harvest. The good seeds are the sons of heaven, the weeds are the sons of the evil one - the sons of the devil - and the harvest time is the end of the world, meaning that there will be a time when the role of the seed sown in the Church of Jesus will come to an end. When the angel of Heaven (Advocate) comes at the end time, the good seed will go to the barn, while the weeds will be tied up in the field. The weeds in the field are thrown into the furnace, while the harvested grains shine like the sun in the kingdom of God.

It has been about 2000 years since Jesus sowed the seed of God. This is the time period necessary to spread the Gospel to the whole world. Today, Jesus comes with the angels and harvests.

This time of harvest is when the wars of Matthew 24 and Revelation are fulfilled. In Revelation 14, verses 14-16, Jesus and His angels come with sickles and harvest the ripened grains from the earth. The ripened firstfruits are the 144,000 of Mount Zion in Revelation 14:1-5, and in James 1:18, they are the firstfruits born of the word of truth. These are the 144,000 who were harvested and sealed in Revelation 7 after the end of the church of Jesus in Revelation 6 where the sun, moon and stars darkened and fell. They are the priests of the 12 tribes of the new kingdom of God. After that, a great multitude of people dressed in white robes come with their sins washed away by the blood of Jesus.

Matthew 24 said that the end will come after the Gospel of Heaven is preached to the whole world, and after the days of deception, betrayal and destruction of the chosen people when the sun, moon and stars darken and fall. Jesus will come with His angels to harvest the chosen people from all four corners of the earth.

What is the sickle that the angels are holding at this time to do the work of harvest? Since the harvested grain is a believer (saint), the sickle to harvest with is the revealed word of God that evangelises the saints, and a pastor who has this word. Therefore, hearing the word of revelation from this promised pastor (shepherd) given by the angel of Heaven (Advocate) and going to the barn is being harvested. The barn where the grain is gathered is Mt. Zion, where the ripened 144,000 firstfruits are. It is the place where the throne of God is located, and it is the kingdom of God, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony where God, Jesus and the promised pastor are. It is promised that the spiritual kingdom of heaven where God, Jesus, the angels and spirits are will come down to Shincheonji, the new kingdom and new people.

On the other hand, the wild grapes in Revelation 14:17-20 that cannot be harvested and are judged outside the city are those who received the mark of the pastors of Babylon, the nation of demons in Revelation 13. These are the weeds that are tied in bundles, the children of the devil born of the devil's seed, who are eventually burned. The  fact that they remain in the field without being harvested is evidence that they are the weeds.

“To harvest is to wield a sickle that causes judgment. The weeds represent despair, suspicion, dissatisfaction and complaint in the human heart"
Established Church

Pastor A of the Presbyterian Church
“After the sowing of seeds, the devil sows weeds. Where there is joy, there is despair, and where there is worship, the devil (Satan) sows seeds of doubt in our hearts. This is sowing seeds of bitterness and resentment within a heart of gratitude before God. This is the sowing of evil, unrighteous, ugly or obscene things in our hearts and among families in place of Godly things. The weeds that people have are then not even removed. Their issues are not resolved. I should know as I do a lot of counselling.”

Pastor B of the Presbyterian Church
“In Revelation 14:15, it reads, 'Another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, "Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe." To harvest by swinging a sickle is to judge. In other words, it is to start a conflict. It is to wield the sickle for war.”
