📰The Bible is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed books in history, yet it is also considered to be among the least understood. The Bible, which is referred to as the New Covenant and Promise of God, in which 'the way to heaven and salvation' is presented, differs in theologians' interpretations that make it difficult to understand. These differing interpretations have been the cause of the rise of denominations with each one establishing their own doctrine. With the increase in online church services and gatherings resulting from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there has been growing interest in the comparison of various church doctrine. This paper, therefore, attempts to provide readers with the opportunity to compare differing Biblical teachings without interpretation. Among a host of online sermons and Bible-based teachings, the contrasting doctrine between the established Church and Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has drawn public interest throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, is hereby compared and summarised. Best efforts have been made to provide a summary of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' understanding of the Bible. Judgment as to what is right or wrong is left to the reader’s discernment.

Let's take a look at the number of mounted troops in Revelation 9:16: 200 million. First, the term “mounted troop” refers to an army that fights on horseback. The horses in the main reference are horses belonging to the four angels bound at the river Euphrates, as seen in Revelation 9:14-16.
The bound angels refer to Satan the devil. Therefore, the 200 million mounted troops are the army belonging to Satan the Devil. In 1 Samuel 21:11 it is written, 'Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands'.
If we interpret this as 1,000s multiplied by 1,000s or 10,000s multiplied by 10,000s, according to the interpretation of the established denominations, then that means Saul killed 1 million people and David killed 100 million people. How could one person, David, kill 100 million people?
Therefore, when it is written that there are thousands upon thousands and ten thousand upon ten thousand in the Bible, it is not a direct multiplication, but a symbolic expression of an immeasurable number. Therefore, in Daniel 7:10 and Revelation 5:11, the number of angels numbering thousands upon thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand does not refer to a specific number, but it means that the number of angels belonging to God is immeasurable.
Therefore, the fact that there are 200 million mounted troops belonging to Satan in the text means that there are countless evil spirits belonging to Satan. Then, why are they portrayed as horsemen?
This is because the spirits of heaven are tasked to work with flesh (people) on the earth, in the same way that a man rides a horse and controls it. Therefore, the 200 million mounted troops in the text means that there is a countless number of spirits and flesh belonging to Satan - not 200 million Chinese militia.
Also, the 200 million mounted troops were prepared to kill a third of the people at an appointed hour, day, month and year, as seen in Revelation 9:15, and they kill a third of people with fire, smoke and sulphur coming out of their mouths. They harm the people with the heads on the tails of horses. Jeremiah 5:14 helps us understand that the fire is that kills a third of the people here is the word. The word of God that judges the chosen people who betrayed is likened to fire.
The reason they were killed is because they received letters of repentance through Jesus' messenger New John in Revelation 2~3, but they did not repent and eventually hid in caves, mountains and rocks among the Gentiles in Revelation 6, meaning that they became one with the destroyers.
Therefore, since the war in Revelation 9 refers to a spiritual war that takes place within the tabernacle, that is, the church, and not a world war, it can be clearly seen that the claim that the 200 million mounted troops are 200 million Chinese militia is false.
