[Cheonji Ilbo Gangwon = Correspondent Hyeon-bok Lee] Shincheonji Volunteer Group Donghae Branch hosted a photo exhibition for the prevention of forest fires for hikers visiting the mountain at a time when the risk of forest fires is high.

In March of last year, a large-scale forest fire in the Okgye region of Gangneung city continued to the East Sea region, resulting in widespread forest damage and many victims who lost their homes, leaving enormous property damage.

In the event of another forest fire in Okgye, Gangneung city, Shincheonji Volunteer Group provided emergency transportation for residents in forest fire risk areas to help them evacuate to a safe place. Engaged in active volunteer work.

A resident living in Dokga Village said, “Shincheonji Volunteer Group is doing a tremendous job in this cold weather. Thank you very much for your campaign, reminiscent of the help you provided last year when I was forced to evacuate the comfort of my own home in the village mountains because of the forest fire.”
