✦ Regular donations to the underprivileged by caring for plants
✦ “Meaningful practice of love and care to share hope”

[Cheonji Ilbo Asan = Reporter Joo-Hwan Park] The Asan Branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group (Managed by Mu-gyeom Jee) signed a contractual agreement with the Korea Association for People with Disabilities for the 'More the Better' campaign on April 18 to promote mutual cooperation.

According to the Asan branch, the Shincheonji Hope Project is part of Dadaikseon ('More the Better') campaign, which is purposed to alleviate the Covid-19 pandemic and is founded on the principles of 'Healing + Sharing and Giving + Environment' that benefits both participants and beneficiaries.

The 'We Are One' intergenerational volunteers programme unites all members of society, without discriminating on the basis of one's social standing. The programme provides emotional care as it helps beneficiaries find joy and hope through plant care.

In addition to signing the contractual agreement, the Asan branch also delivered rice and 10 boxes of ramen (20 people) and shared a hot meal.

Through this agreement, the two organisations will participate in serving the greater good by cultivating plants and making regular donations to the underprivileged in the region.

Jemu-gyeom, the head of Asan Branch, said, We will gradually expand this programme into an even more meaningful practice of love and care, so that everyone experiencing physical and mental fatigue due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic can be filled with a deep sense of hope.

Meanwhile, the Asan Branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group is sharing the love of God to neighbours in need through various volunteer activities, such as the 'More the Better' campaign and sanitisation activities.
