Shincheonji Youth Volunteer Group, Aotearoa Africa Foundation & local community gather hearts to assist in flood recovery efforts, Auckland
In light of the unprecedented flooding earlier this month in Auckland, New Zealand, volunteers from Aotearoa Africa Foundation, Shincheonji Youth Volunteer Group and other local community groups assisted with flood recovery efforts for a severely damaged house in Auckland.
Volunteers gathered their hearts and, over several hours, carried household furniture, loose belongings, and cleaned up the affected areas in order to help one family get on their feet again. Volunteers showed dedication and compassion and sacrificed their time to assist where the need was greatest. Together, volunteers were able to make a significant difference in the life of this family and their efforts can encourage other residents in the local community to do the same for their neighbours.
