[Cheonji Ilbo, Chungcheongbuk-do = Reporter Nari Hong] Shincheonji Church of Jesus produced 100,000 graduates last year, causing a sensation in the global church community. An outdoor photo exhibition featuring the graduation ceremony is being held throughout February in Cheongju.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Cheongju Church (Head Instructor Mu-gyeom Je) announced on the 12th that it is holding an outdoor photo exhibition after having successfully completed the 'Invitation to the Lord's Second Coming, Harvest, and Reality' exhibition held last year. The previous photo exhibition held at Shincheonji Cheongju Church received favourable reviews, recording 4,517 visitors over four days.

According to Shincheonji Cheongju Church, this outdoor photo exhibition will be held throughout the city, including at YongdusajiCheoldanggan (Iron Flagpole at Yongdu Buddhist Temple Site) and Sangdang Sanseong, from January 31st to the 28th. Consequently, citizens who witnessed the photo exhibition on the way to the temple showed a positive response to the photos of the 100,000 graduation ceremony.

A citizen who visited the photo exhibition held daily at Sangdang Sanseong on the 11th said, “I'd only heard about the graduation, but having now seen it in person, I realise that its sheer magnitude is on another level.”

Mu-gyeom Je, head instructor of Shincheonji Cheongju Church, said, “As this photo exhibition is being held outdoors for one month, it will make it easier to view the scenes of the 100,000 graduation ceremony. It's an opportunity to experience the actual event, so we hope that many citizens will come.”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus established the Zion Christian Mission Center, a free Bible education institution, in 1991, and has been holding an annual graduation ceremony for graduates who have completed the Bible education course that lasts up to 9 months. After producing 103,746 graduates at KINTEX in Goyang in 2019, successive graduation ceremonies for 20,000 graduates have been held yearly despite the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the news of 106,186 students completing the curriculum and gathering at Daegu Stadium in November last year has been evaluated as 'a change of perception in the global religious community beginning in earnest'.
