Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church to hold '100,000 Graduation Ceremony' outdoor photo exhibition until the end of February
[Cheonji Ilbo Pyeongtaek = Reporter Hee-joo Noh] Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church (John Tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, will hold an outdoor photo exhibition of the Zion Christian Mission Center '100,000 Graduation Ceremony'.
According to Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church on the 8th, the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony outdoor photo exhibition held in front of Exit 1 of Pyeongtaek Station will be exhibited once a week, every Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm until the end of February.
Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church announced that it would extend the photo exhibition in order to publicise the event of the 100,000 graduation ceremony to more citizens and show its growth even in difficult times.
Hyeon-cheol Lee (pseudonym, 60s), who viewed the photos while passing by Pyeongtaek Station, said, “I was surprised to learn that Shincheonji exists in other countries.”
Myung-hee Choi (pseudonym, 40s), who was listening to the docent's explanation with intent, said, “There was a negative perception of Shincheonji during the COVID-19 pandemic, but after viewing this photo exhibition, I thought to myself, ‘Is there something I'd misunderstood?’ It was a surprise and interesting to see people gathering from around the world.”
Sang-hoon Lee, head instructor of Shincheonji Pyeongtaek Church, said, “The 100,000 graduation ceremony in November 2022 was a large-scale event that no other religious organisation has put on. We hope that many visitors will experience this through the outdoor photo exhibition.”
Meanwhile, Zion Christian Mission Center, a free Bible education institute of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, held its Class 113 graduation ceremony at Daegu Stadium on November 20th last year and produced 106,186 graduates. Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a special photo exhibition throughout South Korea in December of last year, titled 'The Lord's Second Coming, Harvest, and Reality', to vividly convey the scenes of that day.
