The Yongin branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is carrying out an environmental clean-up service called ‘Green Nature’ near the Giheung District Office in Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province

“I was surprised to see the amount of littered cigarette butts, so I felt proud and fulfilled when I saw the streets become cleaner thanks to our volunteer efforts.”

On the 22nd, the Yongin Branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group carried out a litter-picking activity near the Giheung District Office in Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province. Jun-won Choi, a student who participated in the anti-litter work with the Shincheonji Volunteer Group on that day, said the above.

The area around Giheung District Office, where volunteer work was carried out on this day, was the site of frequent flytipping, causing a nuisance for residents. Accordingly, the Yongin branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group, together with student volunteers, circled the Giheung District Office and collected illegally discarded litter and cigarette butts.

This activity was carried out as part of Shincheonji Volunteer Group's nationwide 'Green Nature' campaign, which aims to preserve a beautiful and clean natural environment for posterity.
