Shincheonji Daegu Church Successfully Holds 'Thaddaeus Thanksgiving Ceremony' for Local Business Owners and Residents
“The church exists because of the citizens. That is why we plan to continue to create various cultural and communication opportunities to be with the citizens.”
On the 15th, the Shincheonji Daegu Church held a 'Thaddaeus Tribe Thanksgiving Ceremony' for about 1000 invited local residents and business owners. An official encapsulated the mindset with which the Shincheonji Daegu Church has been working to engage with the local community.
On that day, the Daegu Church set up an exhibition space to explain the history and vision of Shincheonji Church of Jesus with a photo exhibition organised into four themes: the growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, domestic and international activities, cultural and volunteer activities, exchanges, and vision, providing an opportunity to help people understand Shincheonji.
To stimulate the interest of attendees, various experiential booths such as calligraphy, psychological tests, table tennis, and Yutnori (traditional board game) were set up at the event venue, as well as a band performance that was prepared by the youth group of Shincheonji Daegu Church and an exciting Taekwondo performance.
