“I learned anew that heaven is not something you go to, but something that comes to you. The Bible was explained in such an easy-to-understand way that I didn’t realise how much time had passed.”
On the 22nd, the Dongdaemun Church of the Seoul James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Dongdaemun Church) held an open Bible seminar with the theme, “Now, Let’s Go Meet the Truth.” An attendee of the Bible seminar, Wang-su Kim (58, male), expressed his feelings towards the seminar and said the above.
The main lecture was given by the leader of the Seoul James tribe, Young-joo Yoo, to an audience of roughly 200 people including pastors, social figures, and local residents.
In his lecture, lecturer Yoo introduced the church by saying, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus is the kingdom of God where God’s promise recorded in the Bible has been fulfilled,” and “Shincheonji Church of Jesus is a church that preaches not only the word but also the reality that has been fulfilled.”
Lecturer Yoo also explained God's promise and the process of fulfilment of that promise based on the history of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and emphasised that “if God's promise remained just a promise, it would have been worthless,” and that “since God always keeps His promises, it is important to know the reality of the fulfilment.”
