On the afternoon of the 5th, amid a cold streak that dropped below -10 degrees Celsius, 'Hands of Happiness' delivered lunch boxes to senior residents living alone. One beneficiary, a grandmother (84), expressed her feelings.
'Hands of Happiness' is a group comprised of women's members from Shincheonji Gwangmyeong Church (4o years of age and older), which carries out various volunteer activities such as providing free meals and environmental cleanups for the local community in Gwangmyeong City.
Volunteers carefully prepared food including salad, stir-fried anchovies, and seaweed stems to be put into lunch boxes, and delivered the lunch boxes by visiting the homes of the senior residents.

'Hands of Happiness' intends to contribute to creating a healthy society by serving the older population who live alone who are experiencing financial hardship, social isolation, or depression due to limited external activities.
Meanwhile, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is active in 77 branches in South Korea and has 350,000 members in 12 regions.
