On the morning of the 19th, despite the chilly weather with temperatures fluctuating between below zero and above zero, hundreds of believers gathered early at the Shincheonji Jinhae Church, Changwon City, to attend a weekday service led by Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

In his sermon that day, Chairman Lee reinforced the importance of living a Bible-centred faith and understanding the Book of Revelation and its fulfilment, saying, “What we are testifying to today is the prophecy of the Book of Revelation and the reality of its fulfilment.”

Chairman Lee urged believers to hold firm to their faith, stating, “We must not add to or take away from God’s word. The truth must be fully understood and practised.”

Shincheonji Jinhae Church represents the rise of a young and vibrant faith community. In contrast to the aging congregations of many traditional churches, the Jinhae church was filled with members in their 20s to 40s. This shift has caught the attention of religious scholars and pastors worldwide, leading to over 700 churches in South Korea and 11,427 churches in 90 countries forming partnerships with Shincheonji.

A local pastor commented, “Shincheonji is not just expanding in numbers; it is offering a faith-based alternative that is centred on the Word. If traditional churches fail to address their declining congregations, Shincheonji’s influence will only continue to grow.”

During the service held on that day, Chairman Lee reiterated the importance of understanding the fulfilment of Revelation. He explained that this is the era where biblical prophecies are becoming reality. “When Revelation is fulfilled, everything that has continued since Adam’s time will come to an end. Only those who are harvested and belong to the 12 tribes can attain eternal life,” he emphasised.

He also challenged religious leaders to examine the evidence for themselves. “Rather than criticising blindly, pastors should confirm whether the testimony of Shincheonji is true. We testify to the realities of all 22 chapters of Revelation.”

He also explained what will happen when the Book of Revelation is fulfilled. He said, “When the Book of Revelation is fulfilled, everything that started with Adam and continues until now will end.” He added, “Only those who are born of God’s seed, harvested, and belong to the 12 tribes can become resurrected like Jesus, as recorded in Revelation chapters 19 and 20. Since this word is clearly written in the Bible, God tells us to never add to or subtract from this word, but to believe and keep it.”

He continued, “God is creating a new world with the 12 tribes,” and urged, “Let us become people of true faith who have a firm faith in God’s kingdom and salvation, and let us share what we know with many people so that they can understand and believe.”

The service concluded with an outpouring of joy as attendees lifted their hearts in worship. Many believers shared their personal testimonies, reflecting on how Shincheonji’s teachings had answered their long-held questions about faith.

In particular, a former military officer expressed his gratitude for the peace that faith in Shincheonji has brought him. “Surviving a battlefield made me realise that my life was in God’s hands. Now, I want to be part of the movement that spreads the message of true peace.”

Meanwhile,  Jinhae Church, which started with 20 members on March 16th 1997, has now established itself as a church with over 1000 members.
