“I also want to join the environmental protection movement.”
On the 15th, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Guri-Namyangju Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Guri-Namyangju Branch) conducted the carbon neutral campaign 4R movement near Dasan Station. Local head baker Chang-jae Yoo (65, male), expressing his wish to address the “ongoing climate crisis”, said the above.
The '4Rs movement (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Refuse)' of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group is designed to reduce waste and promote resource conservation. Particular emphasis is placed on raising awareness of the importance of carbon neutrality and the harmful effects of the illegal dumping of waste in the current global environmental climate.
On that day, to enable citizens to practice recycling in their daily lives, the Guri-Namyangju Branch operated a recycling experience booth and made eco-friendly items (wooden toothbrushes, natural dishcloths, etc.) and upcycling products (pot holders, pot gloves, etc.) for recycling and distributed them as gifts.
Meanwhile, this environmental campaign was carried out as part of Shincheonji Volunteer Group's nationwide 'Green Nature' campaign, which aims to preserve a beautiful and clean natural environment for posterity.
