Bang-sik Jang, the head of the Matthias Tribe, is giving a lecture at the sermon seminar titled 'The Blind Who Open Their Eyes to Find Heaven' held at the Nonsan Church of Shincheonji on the 16th. |
At the sermon meeting hosted by the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, Matthias Tribe Nonsan Church (Pastor Ji-Hoon Park, hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Nonsan Church), the head of the Matthias Tribe, Bang-Sik Jang, gave a lecture on the 16th with the topic, “The Blind Who Opens Their Eyes to Seek Heaven.”
Jang Ji-pa-jang defined the essence of faith as ‘rebirth’ and emphasized religious enlightenment to find the path to eternal life. Citing Genesis and the New Testament, he explained, “People are born from physical parents, but must be reborn through the word of God.”
He then quoted John 6 and said, “We must seek the food of eternal life, not the food that perishes,” and “Accepting the word of God is the key to being born again.”
He also cited Genesis 2:7, “God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him, making him a living being,” and emphasized that “this is the process of being reborn as a spiritual being, beyond a mere physical existence.”
Jang Ji-pa-jang mentioned Genesis 1:3-5, “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. And God separated the light from the darkness.” The light in Genesis refers to spiritual enlightenment and truth, and following the teachings of Jesus Christ is the way to move toward the light.
After the lecture, one attendee said, “I was able to understand the contents of the Bible that I had vaguely known in detail,” and “It was an opportunity for me to deeply realize the importance of being born again and spiritual transformation.”
An official from the Shincheonji Nonsan Church said, “We will continue to hold lectures that explore the deep meaning of the Bible to provide believers with opportunities for enlightenment,” adding, “We hope that many people will open their spiritual eyes through the true word.”
