On the 19th, the Daejeon branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group (hereinafter referred to as the Daejeon branch) conducted its filial piety practice campaign 'Healthy Yard' to support the healthy lives of senior citizens in the region through a variety of programmes, including dementia prevention education, hand massage, health clapping, speed games, and writing 'letters to self.' An official of the Daejeon branch expressed the ethos of the campaign above.
This event was organised at the request of Mokhwa Senior Centre and was held for 30 senior centre members.
Meanwhile, the Daejeon branch plans to conduct a monthly filial piety campaign targeting senior centres this year, in line with the policy direction of Daejeon City to ‘create a city of filial piety,’ aimed to give senior residents a happy and healthy life.
