Shincheonji Volunteer Group Seoincheon Branch Launches Fire Prevention Campaign
“In the 1970s, there was a big fire at the Daeyeongak Hotel, and many people died and I lost a friend in that fire. If you are not careful with fire, it can lead to an irreversible disaster.”
On the 11th, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group's Seo-Incheon branch held a winter fire prevention campaign targeting local residents near the Asiad Stadium Station in Seo-gu, Incheon. A participant in the campaign, Kyung-hoon Kim (80, male), recalled a past tragedy and emphasised the importance of the fire prevention campaign.
On this day, the Seo-Incheon branch provided local residents with information on fire prevention, including a demonstration of how to use a fire extinguisher and how to save lives in the event of a fire.
The Seo-Incheon branch recommended that, in the event of having to pass through the flames without inhaling the toxic gases generated during a fire, one should cover the nose and mouth with a wet towel or something similar, cover the body with a wet blanket, etc., and then move to a safe place.
In addition to the fire prevention campaign, the Seo Incheon branch has been engaged in the 'Green Nature' campaign, which aims to preserve a beautiful and clean natural environment for posterity.
