Shincheonji Seoul Church Delivers Chuseok Gifts to 45 Local Businesses

| On 22nd September, volunteers from the Seoul Church of the Seoul James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus visited shops near the temple in Nowon District, Seoul, and exchanged Chuseok greetings with merchants while handing out songpyeon (rice cakes) and domestically produced rice. |
Ahead of Chuseok, Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ Seoul Church delivered songpyeon and locally produced rice to 45 businesses in Nowon District, Seoul, on 22nd September.
Starting at 1pm, four volunteers dressed in hanbok visited nearby shops, including businesses in Hara Plaza, to share the gifts and exchange holiday greetings with local merchants.
Myeong-hee Han (female, 50s), who witnessed the event, said, “She looks so beautiful in her hanbok,” adding, “I hope there will be more opportunities for local residents to take part in community activities like this.”
A Seoul Church representative said, “We wanted to personally meet local business owners, exchange greetings and hear how they have been doing as we celebrate the holiday.”
Seoul Church also continues to support the local community through regular environmental clean-ups and sharing initiatives.
