1500 Shincheonji Yeosu Church members carry out '2024 Year-End Local Commercial Revitalisation' Initiative on the 1st December 2024, in the commercial area near the church
In the midst of a recent economic downturn, 1500 members of the Shincheonji Yeosu Church conducted an activity called '2024 Year-End Local Commercial Revitalisation' in the commercial districts of Yeosu City on the 1st December 2024. The initiative seeks to provide practical assistance to small retail and food and beverage businesses.

Ji-seon Lim (50, female), who runs a Korean restaurant in the neighbourhood, said, “Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the surrounding businesses have not recovered and are continuing to struggle. I am grateful that the Shincheonji Yeosu Church made a group reservation and visited our business to help us out so much. I hope you will continue to use the surrounding businesses and show much interest.”

Another local restaurant owner, Bok-seong Yoon (65, male), said, “These days, life has been really tough because of the difficult economy. I’m so happy that the store is finally lively today.”

This volunteer activity will be held steadily throughout 2025 in order to help revitalise the local economy.

Meanwhile, since the 110,000 Shincheonji graduation ceremony held in late 2024, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been interacting with many churches and pastors in the Yeosu area, and people are flocking to it.
