“Let's Become Believers Who Work Hard With Firm Faith in the New Year,” Chairman ManHee Lee Delivers Sermon at Shincheonji Daegu Church

“Let us make the whole world aware of the fact that the Book of Revelation has been fulfilled today, so that they will believe. To this end, let us become believers with firm faith and the Word.”
With conviction, Chairman ManHee Lee outlined the direction congregants should take this coming year in a sermon given during the noon service held at the Daegu Church of the Thaddeus Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereafter referred to as Shincheonji Daegu Church) in Daegu City, Republic of Korea, on the 5th.
To a throng of approximately 10,000 faithful that filled the main sanctuary of the Shincheonji Daegu Church, the service - the first of 2025 - began with a time of praise, clapping and singing hymns.

Then, Chairman Lee took to the pulpit and emphasised in his sermon to the congregation the heart and mind that those who have mastered the words of the Bible must have. In particular, he emphasised that the Book of Revelation, which no one knew for 2000 years, is being fulfilled today, and he repeatedly urged that it is important to think for oneself who the Book of Revelation is talking about and to understand and believe the Word of Revelation.
The Chairman said, “What God wants to do at the time of the Lord’s Second Coming, which is the time of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation, is to bring an end to the first heaven and the first earth and create a new heaven and a new earth.”
The Chairman emphasised the importance of having faith and belief in the words of Revelation, so as to avoid adding or subtracting from it and thereby failing to achieve the hope of heaven, as recorded in Rev 22:18-19.
The Chairman continued, “If you are not created according to the Book of Revelation, no matter how good a person you are, it doesn't amount to anything. What God desires is only the Book of Revelation, without adding or subtracting anything.”
Chairman Lee urged, “Let us have a certain faith that God acknowledges!”
Following the service, congregant Hee-jung Park (65, female, Daegu City) said, “This year, I have made up my mind to master the word and share it with at least one more person in this world who has fallen into darkness.” She added, “I have once again realised that I am truly blessed and loved for being able to have faith in this place where God is.”
The reason the Chairman can speak with such conviction and hope is because he has witnessed the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation in the New Testament (Rev 22:8). Moreover, he is the messenger chosen by Jesus, who has come in spirit, to testify to the churches what he saw and heard firsthand (Rev 22:16). The word that Shincheonji Church of Jesus testifies was not unpuzzled through human research, but was revealed by God and Jesus to the Chairman.
In 2024, Chairman Lee, who is 93 years of age, visited nearly 70 churches domestically to listen to the voices of the faithful and create a better religious environment for them. His love for God and the congregation serves as an inspiration to believers everywhere.
