“Find the Path to Salvation, Leave Pain & Find Hope,” Shincheonji Busan James Tribe Holds 1st Bible Seminar of the Year
The Busan James Tribe leader is giving a lecture at the ‘Bible Seminar’ held at Busan Church on the 18th |
“Seeing ordinary citizens who do not ascribe to a particular faith leave the lecture with bright expressions gave me an opportunity to reflect on what the ‘true meaning of religion’ is.”
The Busan James Church of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Busan Church) held its first ‘Bible Seminar’ of the year on the 18th, and a journalist in attendance said this.
Held on the theme of “Come to Shincheonji to know the truth,” the Bible Seminar was attended by local pastors, journalists, and believers.
The head of the Busan James tribe opened the lecture, emphasising, “It is not God’s original intention to make life miserable. On the contrary, what God wants is for us to understand His word through the Bible.”
In his lecture that day, the tribe leader said, “People look to solve difficult problems in books, and if the book is effective in solving the problem, it sells well. Among them, the book that sells the most in the world is the Bible.”
He continued, “In Christianity and the Bible, the Word of God is the truth (John 17:17),” and emphasised, “The Word is God (John 1:1).”
He concluded, “We must have been through many difficulties in life, but I hope that today will become a path to salvation that will take us from a life of pain to one of joy.”
Meanwhile, the Busan James Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus plans to hold a Bible seminar in Masan in February, and is inviting the participation of pastors and believers in the Busan and Gyeongnam region who are curious about the revealed words of the Bible.
