“The Ansan Branch has been participating continuously and I'm grateful for their hard work. Thanks to you, I think I'll be able to exercise hard.”

On the 14th, the Ansan branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group conducted a hair care and rice cake soup-sharing activity at the Lawn Bowling Association for Disabled People in Siheung City, Gyeonggi Province. A beneficiary of the service, Mr. Young-jin Kim, said the above.

This activity was carried out under the 'Pinky Promise' campaign, which was established to break down the walls of prejudice against people of disability and establish open communication. In the same way that the little finger, though the smallest of the five fingers, is an essential part of the hand and body, people of disability are citizens who play an equally important role in society.

On that day, the Ansan branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group ordered and distributed 50 servings of rice cake soup and cut hair.

Meanwhile, the Ansan branch has been providing volunteer services over the past three years in order to create a culture that understands and respects people with disability.
