20,000 Faithful Flock to 'Gunsan 2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar' on Revelation

“After becoming a monk, I pondered and searched deeply about birth, ageing, sickness, and death, but I could not find an answer. Then I met Shincheonji and realised that God has the answer to birth, ageing, sickness, and death.”
This is what the head monk of a Buddhist Temple said at the 'Gunsan 2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar' held at the Gunsan Church of the Thomas Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereafter referred to as Shincheonji Gunsan Church) in Gunsan City, Jeonbuk State, Republic of Korea, on the 15th December 2024.
To a throng of approximately 20,000 faithful that filled the main sanctuary of the Shincheonji Gunsan Church, including pastors from the established churches, seminarians, people from neighbouring religions, social figures, and journalists, attendees became ‘one’ with praise, prayer, teachings on the revealed word and testimonials for about two hours.
In a multi-religious society where people of religion rarely sit together, it was a beautiful sight witnessing pastors and monks become one in the magnificent praise led by the 50-member choir and orchestra, and raise their hands to the heavens and shout “Hallelujah” to give glory to the God of heaven.
The audience was wowed by a 13-year-old's five-minute speech on what kind of book the Book of Revelation is, emphasising that “The most groundbreaking book in the New Covenant is the Book of Revelation,” and “Today is the time when everything is accomplished according to the New Covenant.”
ManHee Lee, the chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, then took to the pulpit and spoke for about an hour, testifying that today is the “era of reality” when the prophecies recorded in the Bible are being fulfilled, and that we must confirm God’s absolute “Word of Revelation” that separates heaven and hell and become believers who follow the will of the Bible. The chairman emphasised that churches and pastors must unite through the Word.
He then suggested, “All pastors around the world! If you add or subtract from the Book of Revelation, you will not be able to enter heaven. Shincheonji is knowledgeable. Come and learn. Freely you have received, so freely you must give!” and there was an outpouring of cheers and applause.
The pastors, monks, and others who attended the seminar truly became one and immersed themselves in the experience, as if they had torn down the thick, rigid walls of religion.
Pastor Jeong, who runs a Christian news agency and leads a church, also attended the seminar that day. He said, “I have continued to criticise Shincheonji for 15 years. But now I feel that the words are true, because they present substantial and solid evidence.”
