'We Are One’ Gyeonggi North & Seoul “shares life through blood donation”
During the July-August holiday season when blood supply is low, members of the Gyeonggi North & Seoul Branch of 'We Are One' Youth Volunteer Group gave blood at a bloodmobile in front of Ilsan Cultural Park in Goyang city, Gyeonggi province, Seoul, on the morning of the 26th July.
The blood donation certificates gifted by the members were placed at the We Are Red blood donation campaign booth in Ilsan Cultural Square, and the members who finished donating blood gathered there to take commemorative photos.
About 40,000 young people across South Korea are expected to participate in this blood donation, which is operating as part of the 'We Are Red' campaign, from the 21st July until October 31st.
Meanwhile, Shincheonji Youth Volunteer Group 'We Are One' (Director Jun-su Hong), which was launched on July 30th 2022, carried out its 'Life ON Youth ON' life-sharing campaign throughout South Korea to solve the severe domestic blood shortage that had resulted from the prolonged coronavirus pandemic in South Korea. The group set a world record as 100,360 people participated in a group blood drive held in blood centres nationwide and 73,800 people successfully donated blood.
