On the 22nd July, about 300 people, including pastors, journalists, and citizens, attended the 'Shincheonji 12 Tribes Bible Seminar' of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman ManHee Lee) held at the main temple of Philip tribe in Chuncheon city.

This seminar was held in response to the request of pastors who attended the 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' series held from April to June this year in major cities in Korea. This recent lecture series by the 12 tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus on the 22nd was held simultaneously in 12 regions across Korea and was the first of its kind in Shincheonji. It was conducted as a crossover lecture, meaning that every head of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji delivered a lecture at a neighbouring tribe.

To this end, at Shincheonji Chuncheon Church (Philip tribe, Gangwon province), Jong-ryeol Kwak, the leader of Bartholomew Tribe, came to lecture on the theme of 'Revealing the Fulfilled Reality of Revelation, the New Covenant'. People lined up at the doors of Shincheonji Chuncheon Church even before the start of the seminar.

Tribe leader Kwak emphasised, “In the established churches, Jesus is said to be 'my good friend, the shepherd'. Then, shouldn’t we know the true meaning of the Book of Revelation, which is the revelation of Jesus, and believe and follow it?” He emphasised, “We must listen to the words of Jesus.”

He disclosed, “I also studied theology and learned the words of the Book of Revelation when I was young, and I came to Shincheonji by following the words of the Bible.”

“The 12 tribes of Shincheonji, and Shincheonji, which is the abbreviation of the promised new heaven and new earth in Revelation 21, have been created according to the Bible,” he said. He emphasised, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, is the holy place God is with.”

Dae-sik Choi (pseudonym, 54, male, Chuncheon), who attended the seminar in Chuncheon, said, “I was invited to attend this 12 Tribes Bible Seminar lecture by an acquaintance” and added, “If there are more events like this in the future, I will certainly attend.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus held the Shincheonji 12 Tribes Bible Seminar in the following 12 locations across Korea: Yeongdeungpo district, Seoul; Jongno district, Seoul; Suwon city, Gyeonggi province; Goyang city, Gyeonggi province; Yeonsu district, Incheon city; Seo district, Daejeon city; Buk district, Gwangju city; Saha district, Busan city; Dong district, Busan city; Dalseo district, Daegu city; Chuncheon, Gangwon province; and Jeonju, North Jeolla province.

Meanwhile, there were 460,000 online and offline attendees at the Shincheonji Bible Seminar held earlier this year. Among them, the number of pastors stood at 54,000. As of the end of June, the number of YouTube views of the Shincheonji Bible Seminar exceeded 14 million.
