On the 22nd July, at 3pm, the Andrew tribe training centre in Busan was filled with about 1200 people, including local pastors, elders, Shincheonji members and everyday citizens. Joong-il Choi, who is the leader of Thomas tribe which oversees the faraway province of North Jeolla, came to Busan to give a lecture on the subject of 'Revealing the Fulfilled Reality of Revelation, the New Covenant' as part of the 'Shincheonji 12 Tribes Bible Seminar' series.

At the lecture in Busan, Tribe leader Choi said, “Now we are living in the time of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation, the New Covenant. Let's receive this fulfilment as a gift and perceive that God is with Shincheonji.”

“The book of Revelation is the conclusion and core of the Bible,” he said. “The Bible is testified through the pastor promised in Revelation 22:16. The reason why Shincheonji is rapidly growing all over the world is because God, who is the Word, is with us.”

During the lecture, tribe leader Choi revealed that his father had been a minister of the Full Gospel Church for over 30 years. He also said that he had learned theology and practised his faith at the Presbyterian Church. After telling the audience that he had come to Shincheonji after practising a 20-year-long life of faith, the crowd erupted in applause.

He said that while he was studying theology, what was most unfortunate was that the professors had differing opinions and doctrines, which made it difficult for him to organise logical preaching, and that he subsequently could not preach at his father's Full Gospel Church. Tribe leader Choi said, “All my curiosities about the Bible and a clear understanding of the Word of God were satisfied at Shincheonji.”

Tribe leader Choi asked the audience, “When Jesus returns, which denomination will he come to?” He emphasised, “You must know that the Bible says that at the Second Coming, the harvest will take place at the Church of Jesus. Please listen carefully to what Shincheonji is testifying about when and where the harvest takes place, and have faith that is based on the Bible.”

He also explained that the reason why so many people are flocking to Shincheonji is as prophesied in Revelation 15; that is, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony will be opened and all nations will flock there.

Attendees who visited the seminar on that day said in unison that there are many things to learn from the bright and orderly appearance of Shincheonji Church. Pastor Jeon Mo (76), who pastors at the Unification Church, attended the Shincheonji seminar on that day for the third time. He said, “Shincheonji has many young people and their faces are full of life. In the same way, I feel like I'm gaining good energy from them.” He added, “I felt a lot of kinship in the part that emphasises peaceful reunification (of Korea).”

One lady (50, female), who attended the seminar through an acquaintance said, “I'd heard a lot of bad press about Shincheonji, but when I met them in person, it was very different from what I'd heard.”

Another attendee who said that this was his second time attending a Shincheonji Bible lecture said, “These days, the number of congregation members in each church is dwindling, and it is a serious situation, but what I find remarkable is that only Shincheonji is growing.” Mr. Park (male, in his 60s), who has been a churchgoer since his youth, said, “It's the first time I've come across such an orderly appearance. It's quite impressive.”

Currently, pastors from all over the world are paying attention to the Word from Shincheonji and are coming forward to listen to it. As of the end of May 2023, 1087 churches in 32 countries have changed their church signages to Shincheonji Church of Jesus and are learning the word from Shincheonji.
