Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) held the concluding 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar for Pastors' in Incheon on the 13th, following Seoul, Busan and Daejeon.

On that day, about 1,300 people, including 300 pastors, seminarians, journalists, and people from all walks of life, and citizens gathered from all over the country, including Seoul and Gyeonggi, for the concluding 'Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' at the Ramada Hotel in Songdo, Incheon.

Earlier, on the 22nd of last month, Shincheonji Church of Jesus held the Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Seoul, attended by about 500 pastors from the Gangwon region, followed by the Bible Seminar in Busan, attended by about 150 pastors on the 30th, and the Bible Seminar in Daejeon, attended by about 500 pastors, on the 6th May.

Thousands of people watched each Shincheonji Bible Seminar lecture, which was simultaneously broadcast live on YouTube.

The theme of the Shincheonji Bible Seminar, which garnered a lot of attention through the direct lecture by Chairman Man-hee Lee, is 'The Book of Revelation'. The Book of Revelation presents a 'challenge' in the religious world, as most of Revelation is recorded in figurative language (metaphors) that are difficult to understand and cannot be easily interpreted. Even the interpretations among well-known pastors are very different, adding to the confusion among believers.

Chairman Lee emphasised, “Now is the time of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation,” and that “Pastors must know the reality of the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation and tell it to their congregations,” at every Shincheonji Bible Seminar, and received a great response from the attendees.

The Incheon Bible Seminar was held in response to requests from pastors who could not attend the Seoul Bible Seminar. An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus explained, “Pastors from the metropolitan areas, such as Incheon, Seoul, and Gyeonggi Province, expressed their intention to attend first.”

According to an official of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, it is clear that pastors' interest in the revealed theology of Shincheonji is increasing.

Pastors who attended the Bible Seminar responded with amazement. Some pastors, who had regarded Shincheonji as a heresy and repented of their thoughts, and pastors who did not know the Book of Revelation even after serving for decades expressed their feelings that it was time to quench their thirst for the Word.

The reason so many pastors have visited the site of the Shincheonji Bible Seminar is because they want to know the cause of Shincheonji's growth.

In fact, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is evaluated as the only denomination that has shown growth amid the decline of all religions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the 100,000 graduation ceremony in November 2019, the religious community was surprised by another 100,000 graduation ceremony in November 2022 of last year, three years later. Outside South Korea, pastors from around the world who have come into contact with Shincheonji's revealed theology through online seminars have entered into an agreement to have the word of Shincheonji taught to their congregations through MOU signings, and are even changing their church signboards to Shincheonji.

An official from Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “Many pastors who are hungry for an understanding of the Book of Revelation have been listening to the words of Shincheonji Church of Jesus and requesting MOUs. We hope this will serve as an opportunity for us to think about what kind of faith is desirable according to the will of God and Jesus and put it into practice.”
