Pastors attending the Shincheonji Open Bible Seminar, “Chairman Man-hee Lee's testimony of the entire Book of Revelation is amazing”
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) continues to hold a number of seminars lecturing on the entire 66 books of the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation, and on a range of key life topics, such as the cause of birth, ageing, sickness and death and the solution recorded in the promises of the Bible.
Most recently, on the 22nd, Chairman Man-hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus invited pastors in South Korea and lectured at the 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' at Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul. To the pastors' surprise, Chairman Lee testified the entire Book of Revelation without hesitation.
In light of the current unrest within the religious community in Korea, it is no small feat that more than 1000 current and former pastors and evangelists gathered in person - along with a significant number in attendance via livestream - at the public Bible lecture given by Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The pastors who listened directly to the lecture by Chairman Lee were all impressed by the clear explanation of the Book of Revelation.
Pastor A, who requested anonymity, said, “There are other people who interpret and teach the Bible, but the chairman of Shincheonji Church explained Revelation chapters 1 through 22 in a very clear and concise way, which really surprised me.” Pastor A said, “I don't think he can testify the Bible this clearly unless God and Jesus are with him.”
Pastor B, who retired from the Full Gospel Church, said, “I received grace because he (Chairman) testified the Bible exactly as it is.” Pastor B emphasised, “When most pastors teach the Bible, they only teach some part of the Bible that is necessary at that time, so it was most impressive to hear (Chairman Lee) testify from beginning to end.”
Pastor C, who runs a small church, revealed that he had applied for follow-up education following the Open Bible Seminar, and said, “I feel that they (Shincheonji) provide very important teachings that pastors living in this era must know.” Pastor C also said, “(Chairman Lee) is well aware of the condition of religion today.”
Pastor D, a member of the Presbyterian Church in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, said, “The (established) churches do not even touch on the Book of Revelation because of its complexity, but Shincheonji proves that the words of the Book of Revelation are being fulfilled.”
Voices of admiration for the chairman of Shincheonji, who lectured powerfully even at the age of 93, did not cease. Pastor E, in his 80s, who revealed that he was from the Baptist Church, said, “(Chairman Lee) works with a real sense of duty even at his age.” Pastor E said, “(The Open Bible Seminar) is not something anyone can do,” and “If you look at this seminar and the Chairman from a macro perspective, you can clearly see that God is at work.”
Pastor F, a former member of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (Unification Church), said, “It was impressive that he could preach the Word clearly and with conviction despite his age.”
With reference to the bias within the religious community that rejects Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Pastor G of the Presbyterian Church said, “I wonder if it is out of jealousy that Shincheonji, which is rapidly growing internationally and domestically, is being criticised as a heresy.” Pastor G said, “The word testified here (Shincheonji) is clear and convincing.”
Pastor E explained, “Whether it's a nation or a religion, if what exists begins to rot, something new and transformative will surely emerge. There will always be opposition and noise.”
