‘Shincheonji Bible Seminar on Revelation’ held in Daegu resonates with Pastors
Following the success of the 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' held in the Korean cities of Seoul (April 22), Busan (April 30), Daejeon (May 6), Incheon (May 13) and Gwangju (June 3) with the attendance of 1800 domestic pastors and 16,000 believers, Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) delivered the sixth in-person lecture in the city of Daegu on 11th June.
The Shincheonji Bible Seminar, which has been held every week since April, has aroused great interest from the religious community, with former and current pastors from various denominations, as well as pastors, evangelists, and seminarians attending.
In Daegu, about 2000 people, including 300 pastors from various denominations, including the Presbyterian Church, Methodist Church, and Full Gospel Church, as well as believers and citizens, attended the Shincheonji Bible Seminar.
In every lecture, Chairman Lee has repeatedly stressed the importance of the Book of Revelation to pastors, saying, “If you add to or subtract from the Book of Revelation, the last book of prophecy in the Bible, you will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.” It is repeatedly pointed out that all churches today - pastors and congregation members alike - must know and keep the words recorded in the Book of Revelation, which contains the will of God.
The way that Chairman Lee explained the prophecies and fulfilled realities of every chapter from Revelation 1 to 22 in a logical and concise manner has instilled in pastors a sense of persuasiveness and trust.
The enthusiastic response from the pastors who attended the five lecture seminars proves that the message of Shincheonji is resounding in the religious world.
Pastor Lee, who has been pastoring in Goheung for 23 years, said, “I've been interpreting the law and the gospel in my own way, but it's different to the testimony given (in Chairman Lee’s lecture) because he testifies only according to what he has seen and heard. Moving forwards, I want to learn the word taught by Shincheonji Church, cooperate and focus on gospel ministry with a higher level of spirituality.”
There were also pastors in attendance who had already heard the teachings from Shincheonji Church and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to have the word taught to their congregations.
Pastor Lee, who has been pastoring in Daejeon for 40 years, said, “I signed an MOU with the strong recommendation of fellow pastors who signed an MOU with Shincheonji and am currently taking classes. It's good to be able to properly convey this to my congregation members.”
The enthusiastic response from the pastors who attended the Shincheonji Bible Seminar lectures on Revelation proves that the message of Shincheonji is resounding in the religious world.
Meanwhile, the 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar: Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' lectured on by Chairman Lee is being broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus in nine languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, French, Mongolian, Spanish, and Russian, as well as Korean.
