It was announced on the 19th that the photo exhibition has successfully concluded.

The graduation ceremony of Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, held on November 20 at Daegu Stadium, produced a total of 106,186 graduates, which is the largest number by any theological education institution. It has stunned the religious community.

The success of the graduation ceremony, which surprised the locals of Daegu and citizens throughout South Korea with its meticulously orderly appearance amid a gazes of concern, has continued through photo exhibitions held across the country.

From the 15th to the 18th, the special photo exhibition of the '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji, Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center' held at Cheongju Church (Matthias tribe) welcomed a staggering 4,517 visitors in 4 days. In the photo exhibition, visitors were treated to an insight into the graduation ceremony not only through photos of the graduation ceremony, but also various booths and photo zones. The exhibition received positive reviews from visitors. 

In particular, the docents at the photo exhibition were praised for having cleared up existing misunderstandings and prejudices about Shincheonji according to theme, and for having answered in-depth questions about 'religion' with simple and fun explanations.

It was crowded with people witnessing the events of the graduation ceremony.

Various audiences, from a father in his 50s who came holding his daughter's hand to young lovers and married couples, responded enthusiastically saying, “Honestly, I'd heard about it in words, but it's different seeing it in this way”, “It's nice to see people’s smiles”, and “I'm curious as to how they could have actually gathered like this”. They also listened to the blood group donation campaign and took pictures in photo zones.

As such, some say that the COVID-19 phenomenon, which brought pain to Shincheonji, paradoxically served as an opportunity to validate Shincheonji’s revealed theology more objectively. This is closely related to the creation of an online study platform resulting from COVID-19.

[Cheonji Ilbo Pohang = Correspondent Hae-in Song] Su-jin Kim, head of Shincheonji Volunteer Group Pohang branch, announced on the 15th that he had received the 'Pohang City Mayor's Commendation Award' in recognition of devoted service to the community at the '2022 Pohang City Volunteer Contest'.

About 300 volunteers attended the event on the 14th at Pohang City Hall. It was organised to boost the morale and pride of individuals and groups who have devoted themselves to the service of others throughout the year.

On that day, the 'Pohang City Mayor's Commendation Award' was presented to 3 volunteer groups in the region, including Shincheonji Volunteer Group, and 30 individuals in recognition of their unwavering and selfless commitment to fellow citizens.

Pohang Mayor Kang-deok Lee said, “Volunteers are blessed as much as they share and give without receiving anything in return.”

In particular, the Pohang branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, together with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Federation, provided emergency aid for the restoration of the area affected by Typhoon Hinnamnor last September, and consistent work to rebuild the shopping outlets at Duho General Market in Changpo-dong, Buk district, Pohang city, and at Daedong Woobang Shopping Centre in Uchang-dong, Pohang. They gained the support of the local people.
