[Cheonji Ilbo = Correspondent Min-hee Kim] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee) delivered the 5th lecture of its seminar series 'Testimony on the Revelation of the Old and New Testaments by Chapter.'

On the 18th, lecturer Cheol-gyu Park of Shincheonji Church of Jesus delivered a lecture on the theme Lesson 5: The Result of Those Who Have Kept the Covenant and Those Who Have Not.

The Bible is divided into the Old Testament, the old covenant, and the New Testament, which is the new covenant. Lecturer Park emphasised, “If you believe in God and the Bible, you must know the covenant written in the Bible.”

Next, the results of those who kept the covenant and those who did not was explained. Lecturer Park said, “God chose a shepherd in every era and made a covenant with the people belonging to that shepherd. However, those who do not keep the covenant are cursed, lose the war to the enemy, and ultimately lose everything.”

Next, he explained how physical Israel in the era of the Old Testament was swallowed up by the Gentiles because they had broken the covenant with God and were subsequently destroyed. According to the lecture, God promised the 'creation of a new thing' (Jeremiah 31:22), 'sowing of the two kinds of seed' (Jeremiah 31:27), and 'making of a new covenant' (Jeremiah 31:31) through the prophet Jeremiah.

This prophecy was spread to Israel for 600 years and then fulfilled through Jesus at the first coming. Jesus, who came at the first coming, sowed the good seed and promised the time of harvest.

Lecturer Park said, “The sons of heaven, who are born of the good seed at the time of harvest, are harvested and go to the barn, while the weeds, who are the sons of the devil, are not harvested but remain in the field to be burnt.”

What then followed was an explanation of the new covenant that Jesus established with his blood on the night of the Passover. Lecturer Park said, “The new covenant is a promise that the flesh and blood of Jesus, which is the food of the Passover, will be eaten in the kingdom of God. The flesh and blood of Jesus is the word of life. Keeping it in our hearts is keeping the new covenant.” On the other hand, he added, “Those who add or subtract from the Book of Revelation will receive curses and will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Then, who are those who keep the new covenant and those who do not, and what are the consequences? To summarise, those who do not keep the new covenant are the traditional churches, and the tabernacle of heaven which was destroyed by the beast in the war against the dragon and which figuratively represents the traditional churches. Those who did not keep the covenant and betrayed fled in seven ways according to the words of Deuteronomy 28:25.

On the other hand, those who keep the new covenant at the Second Coming of the Lord are those who come from the east and west in Matthew 8:11 and take their seats in heaven, that is, the 12 tribes of God's new kingdom and people who are harvested and sealed in Revelation 7.

Finally, lecturer Park asked pastors and believers whether they have kept the new covenant and are sealed with the words of the new covenant, Revelation, or whether they have added or subtracted from the book of Revelation. He said, “I myself need to know if I have been created according to the Bible. If we truly believe in the new covenant, we must find the 12 tribes of God's kingdom that has been created according to the promise.”
