On 4th February 2022, Cheonji Ilbo (Cheonji Daily) published an article, in Korean, entitled, “Can rich people really not go to heaven?' (Shincheonji Seminar Series: 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings', Lesson 9).'' This is a translation of that report. In the above image, Jae-won Heo, a lecturer from Matthew tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee, Shincheonji Church of Jesus) delivers the lecture '[Lesson 9] The Figurative Treasure and the Rich' in continuation of the seminar series 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings', on 3rd February

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Min-hee Kim] With the continuation of the seminar series 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee), which teaches  believers around the world about heaven, a lecturer from Matthew Tribe, Jae-won Heo, delivered the most recent lecture.

This seminar, entitled '[Lesson 9] The Figurative Treasure and the Rich', follows on from the previous seminar '[Lesson 8] The Figurative Light and Lampstand, the Blind, Deaf, and Clothes' that was delivered by lecturer Su-hyun Yoo of Bartholomew tribe on 31st January.

Before beginning the seminar, lecturer Heo emphasised that the four Gospels and the Book of Revelation are mysteries written in parables.

Lecturer Heo first explained about the figurative treasure. He said, “The true meaning of spiritual treasure is the Word, and those who have the Word of God’s truth are likened to treasure.” He then explained the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. Lecturer Heo said, “A talent is a unit for counting gold and silver,” and, “What [the master] gave his servants was gold, not talents. The gold here is not real gold, but spiritual gold; that is, the Word.”

According to Lecturer Heo, there are two kinds of spiritual treasure: God's treasure and Satan's treasure. God's treasure is the word of truth, and Satan's treasure are false riches, that is, untruth or lies.

Lecturer Heo said, “The Word is spiritual treasure, and the spirits who perceive the Word also become spiritual treasure." He also testified, “As recorded in Revelation 21, the reality of the kingdom of heaven created on this earth is the 12 tribes of Shincheonji.”

Next, he lectured on the spiritual riches. Lecturer Heo said that there are two kinds of spiritually rich people. He said, “A rich man of God who has many of God’s treasures, which is the word of truth, goes to heaven, while those who have many of Satan’s treasures, that is, untruths or lies, will be judged and go to hell.”

Finally, he urged them, “Looking at the Bible as a mirror, we must examine whether we are rich with God or Satan's treasure, meet God’s true Shepherd, be filled with the word of truth, and become children of God who enjoy the blessings of heaven and eternal life.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “In this era, the true meaning of the parables of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven is being plainly testified because the prophecies that Jesus spoke of in parables has come true at the appointed time.” They also explained that the YouTube broadcasting of this seminar series on parables is being done “to help believers - regardless of denomination or doctrine - who hope for God and heaven to come to know God and His Word.”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus will hold the seminar series 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' a total of 24 times, twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays at 10am, until 28th March 2022.
