On 20th November 2022, Cheonji Ilbo (Cheonji Daily) published an article in Korean, entitled, “[100,000 Graduation Ceremony] Pastor graduate 'signs an MOU with Shincheonji from theological seminary and evangelises 294 people'”. This is a translation of that report.

(Photo) Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee) held its first face-to-face graduation ceremony after the COVID-19 pandemic on the 20th November and produced 106,186 graduates. Mr. D. Jackson presents his graduation testimony as a representative of overseas graduates

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Su-kyung Kang] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee) held its first face-to-face graduation ceremony after the COVID-19 pandemic on the 20th November and produced 106,186 graduates. For the graduates of Class 113, the ratio of pastors compared to the previous graduation ceremony increased.  A total of 522 pastors, 37 in Korea and 485 overseas, completed the Bible study course in an environment of online learning due to COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Shincheonji Church of Jesus released educational material via YouTube. As an environment was created in which students could take classes without being conscious of others, the number of pastors and seminary students increased rapidly.

D. Jackson, the representative of overseas graduates, is also a pastor in India. After encountering Shincheonji Church of Jesus' online Bible classes in October 2021, he signed an MOU with Shincheonji and changed the name of the theological college he was operating to 'Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center'. Currently, 294 members of the church he runs, including pastors in charge of two branch churches, have completed the entire Zion Christian Mission Center course, and are registered as graduates of Class 113. Like D. Jackson, there are currently over 1,000 churches and pastors that have signed MOUs with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. What follows is the full text of D. Jackson's graduation speech made at the graduation ceremony.

I am Pastor D. Jackson, who founded and runs Hepto Theological Seminary. Although I led the denomination and worked as a seminary lecturer, I was unable to understand the true meaning of the Book of Revelation. While searching for answers to the Book of Revelation and the Bible, I came across Shincheonji's revealed word by God's grace!

I am incredibly grateful that the Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus was chosen by Jesus to receive the revealed word, and he is the one who saw and heard all the events when Jesus fulfilled the Book of Revelation. I felt such gratitude that I could not express in words when I realised that the Chairman is testifying to the world what he has seen and heard.

I started evangelism right away to make known the 'secrets of the kingdom of heaven of the last trumpet' in the Book of Revelation. In November 2021, I signed an MOU with Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and I introduced this word to church congregation members, fellow pastors, and friends. On May 22, 2022, the name of the seminary I had been running was changed to 'Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center' and I am still spreading this word to the people in various regions. Currently, all 294 congregants and head pastors of two branch churches have received the word and became members of the family of heaven who were evangelised. We are working hard to open classes with a new batch of 1,000 students!

We want to evangelise countless people around the world with the revealed word of Shincheonji. I promise to work together with the Chairman of Shincheonji, the Promised Shepherd, who is running for God's purpose, the completion of global peace, and healing all nations!

Currently, not only India, but also 24,000 people in Asia, 6,400 people in Africa, 5,300 people in the Americas, and 42,000 people in Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East combined have all become God's family and are being reborn through the revealed word of Shincheonji. The whole world is gathering to Shincheonji, where God is, as promised in the Bible. All glory to God the Father. Hallelujah! Thank you.

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Bit-na Kim] Even amid the coronavirus pandemic, 'Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus)' has produced a large number of graduates - '106,186' on the 20th, causing a sensation within the religious community. Attention is shifting on who Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Chairman Man-hee Lee, who led the graduation ceremony, is.

Chairman Man-hee Lee was born in Cheongdo, North Gyeongsang Province as the 19th generation descendant of Grand Prince Hyoryeong, the second son of King Taejong of the Joseon Dynasty and older brother of King Sejong the Great. When the Korean War broke out, he participated as a student volunteer and witnessed the deaths of many comrades at the forefront. His experiences at that time served as a catalyst for his decision to launch a global peace movement.

After being discharged from the army, he worked in the countryside and prayed to God every morning and evening in the fields of the farmhouse. Then one day a star in the night sky appeared in front of where he was praying. After that, he climbed the mountain with the guidance of a big star, swore allegiance to God in blood, and began a life of faith.

According to Chairman Lee, he came to the realisation that the Book of Revelation was being fulfilled, and in the early 1980s, he experienced receiving the open book recorded in Revelation 10. Afterwards, he said he realised that he was the messenger of Jesus and the messenger of prophecy sent for the churches.

Chairman Lee declared March 14, 1984 the founding day of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, harvested those who were born of God's seed, and established the 12 tribes by sealing them.

In addition, Chairman Lee became a 'messenger of peace' for the cessation of global wars and world peace, transcending borders, races, and religions and touring the world 31 times. Former and current presidents of each country, chief justices of the Supreme Court, and heads of the National Assembly were appointed as Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) Peace Advisory Committee members, and  religious leaders, heads of organisations, and reporters from every media outlet were appointed. They were appointed as peace ambassadors and worked together for peace.

In particular, on January 24, 2014, Chairman Lee personally visited Mindanao, the Philippines, where more than 120,000 people were killed in the 40-year conflict, which was the bloodiest in Asia. He played a crucial role in ending the war and bringing about peace by bringing together the representatives of the two religions, Catholicism and Islam, who were the parties to the conflict, and mediated through the signing of a peace treaty.

In addition, Chairman Lee, together with world-renowned experts in international law, is conducting peace activities to present the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the 'Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW)' to the United Nations. The DPCW contains content such as preventing war at the source and developing a culture of peace for sustainable peace.

[Cheonji Ilbo, Cheonji TV = Reporters Hwanggeumjung, Hyo-sim Seo] Shincheonji caused a stir in the global religious community with the unprecedented graduation of 100,000 people, the largest of its kind by any one denomination, in 2019

Another miracle has taken place 3 years later through the graduation of 106,186 students of Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center.

At Daegu Stadium, where the Shincheonji graduation ceremony was held, only 80,000 people gathered on site considering safety regulations, and a total of 300,000 people, including those who participated in real-time via live broadcast, participated in the ceremony.

(Recording: Man-hee Lee| Chairman of Shincheonji)
“What I ask our pastors to do is to lay aside who is right and who is wrong and to engage in conversation. Who is without sin in this world? We should become one based on the Bible. If you don't know the Bible, you are like the dead. The Word itself is life. The people of Shincheonji have mastered this one book of Revelation. It is the difference between heaven and earth. Even these 100,000 people who completed the course were no different from non-believers at first. Such people studied for several months and became new creations.”

The qualifications to graduate recognised by Shincheonji are unique, because one has to study the Bible for 8 months and pass a graduation exam with a score of 90% or above to officially graduate.

As concerns over safety issues have recently arisen due to the Itaewon tragedy, Shincheonji said that it thoroughly prepared for safety incidents at this graduation ceremony.

I (reporter) saw that Shincheonji was very concerned about safety management while arranging ambulances and medical personnel.

Not only did they enter in an orderly line, but I was amazed to see the card section where thousands of people moved in perfect unison like one person.

There were many concerns to do with the potential for a large gathering of people to result in an accident, but as if to dispel this thought, Shincheonji's organisational power shone brightly.

2900 buses were equipped with GPS so that they did not crowd at once and controlled the flow of people boarding and leaving the buses by number per hour to prevent any accidents.

Daegu Metropolitan City, police, and fire department operated a comprehensive monitoring room to safely finish the event without any major incidents.

(Recording: Daegu city official)
Q. The event ended without too much trouble, is that how City Hall judges it?
“We (the event) ended well, so that’s it. Beyond that, I don't think we are in a position to judge anything.”

Amid such efforts, the graduation ceremony was impressive.

Shincheonji Chairman Man-hee Lee arrives by helicopter, passes through the peace gate, and strikes a drum with a message to awaken the world.

The congratulatory speeches of key figures followed and the faces of the graduates all lit up.

The turning of the tassel, which signifies one's graduation, takes place, and graduates experience the joy of graduating and give thanks and glory to God.

(Interview: Jong-boon Byun | Graduate)
“I am so happy and grateful that I have become the main character of the 100,000 graduation among so many people. As I was studying the Book of Revelation, I became deeply immersed in the Word because the Word of Revelation has been opened and its words, which I could not understand in the churches in Babylon, were taught me. It's heartbreaking. I really believe that I should join in this work of Shincheonji, even if only a little.”

(Interview: Mi-jung Ahn | Graduate)
“I also persecuted and cursed Shincheonji a lot during the coronavirus pandemic because I didn’t know much about it, but now I’m really sorry…I really want you to listen to it once and find joy all together, instead of just thinking about studying the words of Shincheonji alone without actually listening to it.”

The graduates revealed that it was God's grace that Shincheonji, which became the object of public attention due to COVID-19, was able to hold a 100,000 graduation ceremony here in Daegu.

(Recording: Jeong-wook Heo | Representative of graduates)
“I only learned traditional theology at the seminary. I didn't know much about the Book of Revelation. So, I excluded the difficult words and taught only words that are easy to convey to the congregation members. Pastors, what do we really need to teach our congregations? Shouldn't it be to teach the will of God correctly, not serving or singing? Congregation members who have left their churches void of the truth are gathering here. Today is a miracle that is possible because God and Jesus are with Shincheonji. This place, where the purest word of truth in 6,000 years flows out, is heaven. This is the reality of Mount Zion in Revelation 14.”

It is known that this graduation ceremony has been of practical help to local businesses that have shrunk due to the coronavirus pandemic.

(Interview: CEO of a banner company)
“We are a small advertising agency whose services were procured for the Shincheonji 100,000 Graduation Ceremony held at Daegu Stadium. The graduation ceremony was particularly beneficial: banner production and installation, mobilisation of equipment and mobilisation of a large number of personnel has significantly boosted the local economy, and I think it was of great help to our firm as well.”

(Interview: Byeong-gwon Joo | Street vendor)
“Christians are selfish. They accept only Christians who believe the same thing, but these people (Shincheonji members) are not; they are pure. I felt it for the first time. I've been to many places and events in Korea where a lot of people have gathered. Oh, I was really impressed. From what I can see, even if 1 million of them were to gather, there wouldn't be any accidents. Not if they keep order like this.”

The preparation and organisational power of Shincheonji, as well as the exponential growth of Shincheonji, are shockingly surprising.

Despite the tribulation of the coronavirus and the persecution, Shincheonji once again produced 100,000 graduates, as countless people gather in search of the truth.

(Interview: Seung-hyun Kim | Graduate)
“When I saw that 100,000 people, a very large number, gathered like this in the midst of difficult circumstances in the COVID-19 era to listen to the word of God, I deeply felt that it was not a gathering that took place simply because people were told to gather. There could have arisen a situation in which a graduate felt burdened gathering here, but my heart is overwhelmed because I've had the opportunity to attend and express my gratitude in such an orderly manner.”

(Interview: Seong-yong Park | Graduate)
“Today, we finally held the 100,000 graduation ceremony. This really cannot happen without the word of God. It sets a precedent for the future, and I think Shincheonji is the only place that can set future records. Before I learned this word, I was very curious. They say that Shincheonji is right, but is it really true? It's been said that the word is here, but I wanted to distinguish whether the word here is true or not. So, when I looked online, there were about 150 kinds of comparative doctrines. The difference between these words of the established churches and Shincheonji is enormous. But here, I really couldn't find a single flaw. God's Word is the answer. It was so clear and I thought I should learn it properly here. Now that I know it, I will dedicate my all to diligently spreading the words of Mount Zion, this city of truth, to the world as much as I can from now onwards.”

A graduation ceremony that presented a new order and culture!

Shincheonji is opening a new era with the truth and bright deeds, literally bringing about a 'new heaven and new earth'.

(Recording: Man-hee Lee | Chairman of Shincheonji)
“Heaven and God are coming soon. Let us become one in the Word of God.”

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Bo-young Hong] “Unlike the COVID-19 epidemic two years ago, I don't think the risk is high even if a large-scale rally is held.”

An 80,000-strong rally was held in Daegu. Some pointed out safety and quarantine issues, but it concluded without any safety incidents, and even in terms of quarantining, experts agree that large-scale gatherings are not dangerous in the current epidemic.

On the 20th, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) hosted a graduation ceremony for 100,000 people at Daegu Stadium for about 3 hours. In light of concerns over safety issues for large-scale gatherings following the Itaewon tragedy, the organisers said that they made every effort to ensure safety.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “Above all, in order to hold the graduation ceremony safely, we prepared with safety as the top priority for the first, second, and third stages, including order maintenance, operating a monitoring room with the police, fire department, Daegu City and Suseong District Office safety-related personnel at the site.”

In addition, “The church itself deployed a total of 14,000 security personnel to maintain order inside and outside the venue, and had them enter and exit over 4 hours to prevent crowding,” and also said, “Emergency rescue training was conducted for all safety personnel, and all trainees also watched the video about emergency rescue. This graduation ceremony emphasises the fact that safety was especially well taken care of.”

Thanks to these preparations, the event concluded without any safety incidents. The organisers are said to have made every effort to prevent quarantine. It is known that all participants in the event wore KF-94 masks and did not remove their masks at any point from the beginning of the event until the end.

Experts also diagnosed that the risk of large-scale outdoor gatherings is not high in the current COVID-19 climate.

Jae-hun Jeong, professor of preventive medicine at Gachon University Gil Hospital, said, “The current COVID-19 situation is different from two years ago. There have been many large-scale events recently, but it is difficult to say that there is an increased spread with these events.”

“Certainly, if precautions are taken as directed by health authorities (social distancing, etc.), it falls within the scope of being low risk,” he added.

Joong-sik Eom, head of department of infectious medicine at Gachon University Gil Medical Center, said that the risk of transmission from indoor events could vary depending on whether or not masks were worn, the time of the gathering, and the local epidemic situation, but in the case of outdoor events, he said, “I think the risk is very low.”

[Cheonji Ilbo = Correspondent Hye-in Choi] “I was deeply impressed by the exemplary behaviour of Shincheonji, which did not leave even one single piece of rubbish behind, even though it was an event held on a global scale. This 100,000 graduation ceremony has overcome the harsh winds of discrimination and maltreatment.” (Hyuk-bu Kwon, former vice chairman of the Korea Communications Standards Commission)

“In terms of scale and content, everything to do with the graduation ceremony was unmistakably international, and it was nice to see that, despite their scale, the taste of 'Korea' always took centre stage. I've come to believe that 'Shincheonji' will benefit our national interest.” (Reporter A of a certain daily newspaper)

“Shincheonji has been subjected to tremendous political, social, and religious persecution centred on the coronavirus crisis, but it was a tremendous experience to see them overcome all of that and rather spread acts of sacrifice, service, and love. What other church would hold an event on this scale?” (Jae-jun Lee, historical researcher and columnist)

On that day, for safety reasons, the number of participants in the graduation ceremony was limited to 80,000 in Korea, and over 300,000 people participated in the graduation ceremony both online and offline via YouTube Live, broadcast worldwide in 9 languages

The 80,000 seats prepared in Daegu Stadium were filled with a wave of square hats, 20 years since the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup. Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee) held its first in-person graduation ceremony since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, producing 100,000 graduates, the world's largest theological education institution.

Befitting the global scale of the event, officials from all walks of life, including civic groups, religious circles, academia, media, and culture and arts, attended the Shincheonji 100,000 Graduation Ceremony. The president of the Korea Press Foundation and former members of the provincial council delivered congratulatory speeches, and from the 10:00 am press conference to the 3:00 pm main event, numerous people observed the event and shared their impressions of what they saw and heard with this newspaper.

Hyuk-bu Kwon, former vice chairman of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, who watched the event from beginning to end, said, “Before the event, graduates from all over the country entered one by one from 5:00 a.m., and after the event ended, they left in order until 10:00 p.m.” “The buses mobilised for the event numbered about 2,900, and about 10,000 personnel were mobilised for traffic control, guidance, and safety to maintain order within a radius of 2 km around the venue. There wasn't a single accident.”

Then, in light of his experience covering the opening ceremony of the 1988 Olympics as a reporter, he said, “This large-scale event by Shincheonji Church looked comparable to an event of global stature. Through their spirit of devotion and service amid widespread discrimination and cold treatment, this event seems to have brought hope to this era.”

In addition, he said, “I wish to show my appreciation to the mayor of Daegu who permitted the use of this stadium without partiality, while everyone is caught up in their prejudices and pointing fingers.” He added, “I've seen fresh leadership.”

A reporter from a daily newspaper also said, “The constant smiles of everyone who attended the event as well as the guides left a deep impression and created a good image of Shincheonji. The orderliness was willingly and voluntarily practised by each participant in consideration for the other.”

Jae-joon Lee, a historical researcher, also said, “It was wonderful to witness such a beaming event despite the severe persecution. Since ancient times, Korea has been called the 'light of the East'. I hope that we will remember the beautiful faces of those who are keeping their faith and carrying out good deeds even in this chaotic world.”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus held the 'Class 113 Graduation Ceremony' at Daegu Stadium in Daegu City on the same day. A total of 106,186 people graduated on that day, making it the largest theological education institution in the world. Among the graduates of Class 113, there were a total of 522 pastors, 37 domestic and 485 overseas, who graduated, marking a significant increase on previous years.

The number of participants in the graduation ceremony was limited to 80,000 in Korea for safety reasons, and over 300,000 people participated in the graduation ceremony both online and offline via YouTube Live, broadcast worldwide in nine languages.

As we are approach yet another 100,000 graduation ceremony from the Zion Christian Mission Centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus in 2022, let us take a look at the first 100,000 graduation that caught the attention of the world and marked a new step in the growth and victory of Shincheonji.

On November 10th 2019 12:00 (UTC +9), 103,764 students of all backgrounds and ages from 113 nationalities gathered to take part in a graduation ceremony entitled “Unprecedented Light of the World, 100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji Church”.

60,000 graduates gathered at a massive indoor venue in Gyeonggi province, South Korea, and 43,000 graduates participated via livestream in Busan, Gwangju and dozens of major cities and countries across five continents. Within just ten months, all 103,764 graduates had been evangelised and sealed with the revealed word of the Bible through an intensive six-month Bible study course taught by global branches of the Zion Christian Mission Centre. After having completed a 300-question exam and scoring above 90%, all 103,764 graduates officially registered to Shincheonji Church of Jesus. This graduation ceremony marked the largest of its kind by any religious group or denomination in modern history. Global press publicised Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ graduation ceremony, which shook the foundations of the religious world in Korea and abroad.

How was the graduation ceremony on the day? As a participant of the graduation ceremony, I'd like to share my experience firsthand with you.

From the very early hours of Sunday 10th November, graduates of the 12 tribes travelled by coach to the venue from all parts of Korea. The venue began to fill up in the early hours and by 11am, virtually all graduates were seated in perfectly aligned rows and columns.

At noon sharp, the presider opened the graduation ceremony and announced the full number of graduates - 103,764! Seated at the front were delegates from various political and religious circles in Korea. All 60,000 graduates stood to the Korean National Anthem performed by Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ orchestra and choir dressed in angelic white (2:22). As the most divided country in the world with a tragic history, a moment of silence was held to pay tribute to all those who had fallen in war (3:30). The presider then welcomed the invited delegates seated at the front (5:00). The initial congratulatory remark (08:15) was delivered by a senior figure within the Korean Presbyterian church, who denounced the groundless accusations made against Shincheonji Church of Jesus by the established church in Korea (notably the Christian Council of Korea) and who himself is a staunch advocate of Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ interfaith dialogues. He said: “I believe that the dialogue for people of faith, began by Chairman Lee, will spark conversation, understanding and interaction between religious believers for religious harmony and play a significant role in loving our neighbours according to the will of God.”

The second congratulatory remark was delivered by the head of the Resident Memorial Association and former member of the National Assembly (15:57). He advocated for the work of peace that Chairman Lee is doing by uniting global religious leaders in a world where religion is responsible for roughly 80% of today’s conflicts. The third and final congratulatory remark (27:39) was given by the president of a religious institution who concluded with the words, “You are the heaven's army bearing the Cross and you are the children of God”.

Chairman Lee not only works for peace among religious leaders. Alongside 17 international law experts, Chairman Lee has drafted the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) for implementation at the United Nations' General Assembly. A presentation of letters sent by current and former heads of state to Chairman Lee advocating for the ratification of the DPCW at the UN was then displayed (42:08). This included one letter from former President Donald Trump!

As with a typical service at Shincheonji Church of Jesus, there was a time of silent prayer (44:10) and representative prayer (50:20). Then a video link was shown of the 43,000 graduates participating via simultaneous livestream in Busan, Gwangju and cities in dozens of countries all over the world (1:02:57).

The highlight of the ceremony was hearing a 40-minute sermon delivered by Chairman Lee on the importance of understanding one's purpose and identity according to the Bible (1:06:02). As Jesus’ promised messenger, he is making the fulfilment of Revelation known to the churches throughout the world according to everything he has seen and heard (see Revelation 22:8, 16). Chairman Lee concluded his sermon with prayer (1:46:07).

After the sermon, a testimony was delivered by a youth pastor who had evangelised 100 congregation members from his previous church while he was studying the true word of the Bible at Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Zion Christian Mission Centre (1:56:19).

The ceremony continued with a stunning 'performance of light' and children's bouquet-giving to Chairman Lee who, together with 103,764 graduates in five continents, concluded the ceremony by giving all the glory to God through a loud 'Hallelujah' and 'Amen'. In conclusion, Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ graduation ceremony was unlike anything the religious community has witnessed.

What is the reason for the rapid growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus?
1) Promised Pastor
The book of Revelation, which records promises about future events, has been sealed for the last 2000 years. However, this book has finally been opened and its promises fulfilled. In Revelation 10, the meaning of Revelation and its fulfilment (reality) was given to one person who saw and heard all the promised events in Revelation. This person is the messenger sent by Jesus on his behalf to make known everything he has witnessed to the churches (see Revelation 22:8, 16). His testimony is trustworthy because he has witnessed all these promised events in person at the location of the events. Chairman Lee also devotes his time as a peace advocate who is uniting religious leaders throughout the world to cease all wars and achieve peace. This is very significant in a world where c.80% of wars and conflicts are motivated by religion.

2) Promised Temple
Shincheonji Church of Jesus is promised to appear throughout the Bible; specifically within the book of Revelation, where the promise of a ‘New Heaven New Earth’ is recorded in chapter 21. The name 'Shincheonji' ('Shin-cheon-shin-ji’ in full) translates from the Korean as 'New Heaven New Earth'. The people (congregation members) in Shincheonji Church of Jesus are part of this new kingdom and people born of God’s seed (word). God, who left this world 6000 years ago because of sin (Genesis 6:3), will return to people gathered at this place to be with them and end death, mourning, crying and pain (please refer to Revelation 21:3-4). It is an incredibly hopeful promise that will be fulfilled in the not-too-distant future.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is also named 'The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony' because it is from this Temple (church) that the 'testimony' of the fulfilment (reality) of Revelation is given through the promised pastor who has witnessed all these promised events in person. The name ‘Shincheonji’ is Korean because the promised events recorded in Revelation have been fulfilled in South Korea.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is also very transparent with its finances. It spends the majority of congregation members’ contributions towards the work of evangelism so that as many people as possible can freely receive the truth of the Bible.

Moreover, at present, 300,000 members of Shincheonji actively serve communities throughout South Korea and internationally through a range of projects, campaigns and initiatives focused on environmental conservation, blood donation, medical aid, war veterans' support, elderly care and public service with numerous awards received to date from the Korean government.

3) Promised Theology
Shincheonji Church of Jesus possesses the promised theology where one can study Genesis, Revelation and all 66 books of the Bible in-depth. Through an intensive six-month Bible study course at its 300+ Zion Christian Mission Centres worldwide, people hungry for the true meaning of the Bible can study the basic, intermediate and advanced levels that cover the correct way of reading the Bible, Biblical history, the secrets of Revelation and Genesis (including the realities of the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the serpent), the ‘new promise’ believers of the Bible must keep today, God's will for us individually and His plan to restore this broken world and create paradise. All this can be clearly understood because Revelation, which has been sealed for 2000 years, has been opened and given to one promised pastor to testify without cost. God has promised to do this, and whatever God promises, He always fulfils!

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Hyun-bok Lee] Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Gangwon Branch, divided into 3 teams in Yeongseo, Yeongdong and North Chungcheong Province from the 14th to the 27th of October to conduct the 'Wall Story' volunteer initiative.

The wall story, which marks its ninth anniversary this year, was conducted under the theme of 'One', and about 70 members of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, local community and religious figures, people with disabilities, and ordinary citizens also participated in an effort to bring down the barriers of class, religion, and ideology. Everyone came together and cooperated for regional development.

▲The Yeungseo Team (Wonju, Chuncheon, and Cheongpyeong) painted the story of the little prince on the wall of Seopjae Sambo-gil in Wonju ▲Yeungdong Team (Donghae, Gangneung, Sokcho) painted the route to Mureung Valley together with the story of 'Heo Byung-jang', which is a cultural heritage of Samhwa-dong ▲The Chungbuk team (Chungju-Jecheon partnership), in response to a request from Munhwa-dong, Chungju, for restoration of the mural, recreated an aged mural into a lively one with the story of Thumb Princess.

Venerable Hyeseon of Hyeonwangsa Temple, who collaborated with the Youngseo team and participated for the first time in the Wall Story initiative, said, “It is incredible to see these murals that I had only seen and heard of in photos.”

He continued, “Shincheonji, which engages with the world through genuine acts of service, seems to be the best volunteer organisation. I hope that the growth of Shincheonji will spread all over the world.” Mr. A, who submitted a request for mural repair with the Chungju branch office, said, “I hope that passersby will feel warmth when they see this mural.” Lawn Bowls Chairman Hyung-seok Seo said, “Thank you for turning Munhwa-dong into a beautiful mural village.”

A Shincheonji Volunteer Group official said, “I am very grateful to see that many people like it.”

Meanwhile, the Gangwon branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group is making continuous efforts to put Godly love for one's neighbour into practice and to develop the local community through various activities, such as the 'Good Donation, Good Consumption', 'Visiting Health Doctor' and 'More the Better' initiatives, and 'Life ON' blood donation campaign.
