On the 25th June, 180 volunteers from the Masan branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group visited Guam Modern Market in Changwon City to revitalise the local traditional market, which had become stagnant due to the impact of COVID-19. An official from the Guam Modern Market Merchants Association expressed his gratitude above.
On that day, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Masan Branch engaged in dialogue with market traders while handing out wet wipes and shopping baskets to local traders and citizens, purchasing necessary items, and conducting various surveys to revitalise the traditional market.
Meanwhile, the 'Traditional Markets' Revival' campaign is being held by the Shincheonji Volunteer Group in many cities nationwide, including Daegu, Yeosu, Gunsan, Seodaemun, Bulkwang, and Mugeuk, in order to contribute to the local economy and foster deeper community cohesion.
