‘Revelation fever’ sweeps South Korea at Shincheonji Bible Seminar, “The Bible is now visible”
More than 66,000 people, including 460 pastors, attended the Bible Seminar on Revelation lectures held by Shincheonji Church of Jesus in a number of cities throughout South Korea on the 26th and 27th October.
The reason for the 'Revelation fever' that is sweeping the nation is, in the words of one attendee pastor from the Protestant Church, “the secret recipe of the Book of Revelation that only Shincheonji Church of Jesus has.” Shincheonji Church of Jesus testifies to the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation.
Mr. Ki-Hyeon Yoon (73, male), who has been a believer for about 30 years, attended the ‘Shincheonji John Tribe Bible Seminar’ held at the Shincheonji Seongnam Church in Seongnam City on the 26th.
The seminar drew in approximately 20,000 people, including 60 pastors. Mr. Yoon said, “After listening to a lecture that clearly explained the complexity of the Book of Revelation within just one hour, I felt that I had to study the Bible here.” “I was very impressed by the lecture,” he said, and immediately registered for follow-up Bible education following the conference.
On the same day, sermon conferences were held in major areas of North Jeolla Province. Pastors, seminarians, and Christians from the North Jeolla Province, including 1000 from Jeonju, 700 from Iksan, 500 from Jeongeup, and 300 from Gimje, attended and showed great interest in the actual evidence of Shincheonji’s Revelation.
The fever of the Revelation conference continued on the following day, the 27th.
Mr. Sam-hee Lim (56, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju), a born-again Christian who serves as a pastor at a church, said, “I heard that Shincheonji can preach the prophecies and reality of the Book of Revelation without hesitation. I was amazed that it was all according to the Bible from beginning to end.”
At around the same time, a lecture on the Book of Revelation was given at a Bible conference held at the Andrew Tribe Training Centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, attended by 10,000 people including 120 pastors and seminarians.
Pastor Park, who has served in the Presbyterian Church for 18 years, said, “I always thought I would go to heaven, but hearing that heaven will come down to this earth was so shocking that it shook my faith,” and added, “I will listen to the message until the end, and if I believe it is true, I will go out and spread this message.”
One participant, who originally came from a Christian family but had never been to church, said, “I really want to suggest to people who label Shincheonji a cult to give it a try. Don’t just believe what you see in the press or on social media, but check it out for yourself.”
In addition, on that day, Bible conferences were held at Shincheonji Hwagok Church (Bartholomew Tribe), Gongju Church (Matthias Tribe), Chungju Church (Philip Tribe), and Uijeongbu Church (Seoul James Tribe).
