On 22nd January 2020, Cheonji Ilbo published an article entitled ‘Shincheonji Volunteer Group’s Coastline Clean-Up Operation for the Korean New Year, Eastern Busan’. This is a translation of that article.

⭐️60 volunteers participate in a cleanup operation

Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Busan branch, led a cleanup operation for returning visitors and tourists on Gwangalli Beach near Busan on the 21st January.

More than 60 volunteers took part in the campaign to remove cigarette ends and chewing gum from Gwangalli Beach.

Ms.Ji-min Park (28), who participated in the cleanup operation, said, “Before the holiday comes, it's important for guests to return to a pleasant-looking hometown. I will always help whenever there is a need."

Mayor Seong-tae Kang of Suyeong District said, “We have been cleaning Gwangalli Beach to make it pleasant and clean for people returning to their hometowns and for visiting tourists in time for the New Year. Thank you for participating in this environmental cleanup operation despite the cold weather.”

Ms. Jun-min Kim (29) from Suyeong District, Busan, who partook in the volunteer efforts, said, “I've seen their voluntary outreach efforts many times and I know of Shincheonji, but I didn't know how much they are actually doing. Many people do a lot of good things in Shincheonji. I hope people will know and resolve their misunderstandings.”

On the other hand, Shincheonji Volunteer Group's East Busan branch is carrying out various community initiatives which include giving blood, rejuvenating dilapidated murals with fresh paint, a 'visiting health doctors' programme for the less privileged and single-resident elderly neighbours, and more.

On 22nd January 2020, Ilyo Seoul (Sunday Seoul) published an article entitled ‘Lunchbox Donation: 'Pink Cloth with Love' Initiative'. This is a translation of that article

New Year's Day is, for many, a day full of joy and food, yet there are still many communities which lack such a privilege.

'Pink Cloth with Love' is one of Shincheonji Volunteer Group's initiatives that delivers lunchboxes with warmth and peace of mind to the less privileged in local communities to eliminate neighbours' worries about meals.

On 21st January, a member of Shincheonji Volunteer Group Gwangju, Mrs. Soon-ok Kim, visited elderly peoples' home with her granddaughters.

That day, Mrs. Kim's granddaughters made a traditional New Year's bow to the elderly residents. They were grateful to receive side dishes prepared by volunteers.

Moreover, Mr. Jeong (75), who has been a beneficiary of Shincheonji Volunteer Group since February last year, opened the door of his 12th floor apartment to welcome the 'Pink Cloth' volunteers.

As soon as they entered the house, the two granddaughters, with bright faces, said, "Granddad, stay healthy this New Year."

He couldn't hide his joy to the extent that he took out his wallet and gave ten thousand won to each granddaughter. The elderly man humorously said, "I think I visited an ATM yesterday for this!"

The side dishes included three types of herbs, all kinds of seaweed and a healthy porridge. Though not a special side dish, it provided Mr. Jeong with a strong and delicate taste. Soon after, he shared a meal of boiled eggs with drinks with volunteers.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Gwangju, visited the underprivileged in the region last year through delivering the 'Pink Cloth with Love' initiative. They visited eight families - twice a month - which is a total of more than 200 visits last year.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group's consistent activities were introduced at the community center in Gwangju. This year, four more households benefitted from Shincheonji Volunteer Group's 'Pink Cloth with Love' initiative. Shincheonji Volunteer Group's pure heart is receiving recognition from the local community.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Gwangju, said, “Many people have the misconception that Shincheonji Volunteer Group members are missionaries. Today, Shincheonji Volunteer Group is made up of volunteers with pure hearts. We will make more effort to become a voluntary organisation that acts as the salt and light of the community."

#Shincheonji #Openbible #Beliefs #sin #fulfillment #God #Harvest
As a congregation member of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, I am very fortunate to receive the true word of the Bible from chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus who writes articles daily to feed the hearts and minds of believers whose sole hope is for heaven and eternal life, as God and Jesus promised in the Bible.

Here I share with you one of Chairman Lee's most recent articles entitled “The Promised Prophecy and Fulfillment of God and Jesus.” Chairman Lee explains how what God purposed 2600 years ago at the time of the prophet Jeremiah is finally fulfilled today at the second coming. The Bible is filled with promises God made that were later fulfilled at an appointed time. Similarly, the promises made by Jesus Christ recorded in the four Gospels and book of Revelation of the New Testament 2000 years ago were made so that when they are fulfilled people who profess to follow the Bible would believe. This is why Jesus said, "I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe" (Jn 14:29).

You will find Chairman Lee's original writing in Korean as he is from South Korea, which is the place where the promised events recorded in the book of Revelation began to be fufilled.

The Promised Prophecy and Fulfillment of God and Jesus

What God prophesied through the Old Testament, He fulfilled through Jesus at the First Coming (Jn 19:30). Jesus, who fulfilled the Old Testament, prophesied future events and is fulfilling all those prophecies (of the New Testament) at the Second Coming (Rv 21:6).

What is God’s promise about? And what is His will and purpose?

The promise was to end Physical Israel and Spiritual Israel (Mt 8:12). God's purpose and will was to sow His seed (Mt 13) that he prophesied in the Old Testament (Jer 31), to harvest the fruits from the seed that He had sown, to seal those fruits, and to create the 12 tribes of God's new kingdom and new people (Rv 7, 14). Just saying "Lord, Lord" will not allow one to enter the kingdom of heaven; only those who do the will of God will enter (Mt 7:21).

Let's take a look at the Christians today. Do they have knowledge of the meaning of the Old and New Testament of the Bible? Don't they look like the dead and like those who are blind and deaf? Even though God made promises and fulfilled them, they have no idea. They only use evil and persecution, which they love to use as their tools and teachings. Don’t you see this?

They have no interest, even though God and Jesus came and fulfilled the New Testament. When those people become reborn by God’s seed and chosen by Him to hear this, their eyes will be opened wide and their hearts will flutter. And they will verify fulfillment based on the Bible.

I am the messenger sent by Jesus to the churches today. I was sent to testify to everything I saw and heard (all the events of Revelation) (Rv 22:8, 16).

No one can make excuses for not hearing this word before God's judgment seat—this word about the work of harvest, sealing, and creation of the 12 tribes.

Here I share with you one of Chairman Lee's most recent articles entitled “To the Brothers of Faith who Carry Out Their Walk of Faith Looking Towards Heaven and Eternal Life in the Bible.” Chairman Lee writes about the hope for those who believe in God's promise in the Bible and the times we are living in today. The promises made by Jesus Christ recorded in the four Gospels and book of Revelation of the New Testament 2000 years ago have been fulfilled today in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). You will find Chairman Lee's original writing in Korean as he is from South Korea; the land of fulfilment. The term 'Spiritual Israelites' refers to believers who came after the physical Israelites (Jews), i.e. Christians. The conclusion of God's promise in the Bible is the creation of the 12 tribes on earth where God promises to end all death, mourning, crying and pain (Revelation 21:3-4).

To the Brothers of Faith who Carry Out Their Walk of Faith Looking Towards Heaven and Eternal Life in the Bible

The world of Adam continued their walk of faith for hope without thinking about the sin they committed, and they did not know about the end of their era. Adam’s ninth descendent, Noah’s era, too had no concern for their sin and their end and thus they eventually were destroyed. Also, the physical Isralites who conquered Canaan were unconcerned about the sin they committed and worked for their hope; however they were destroyed at the time of Jesus’ first coming. In this way, today, aren’t the spiritual Israelites hoping for heaven and Jesus’ second coming while being unconcerned about their sin?

However, Jesus who bore the cross, what did he say about the world during the time of the second coming (refer to Revelation of the New Testament)? Doctor of Divinity, pastors, and congregation members do you know about this? This is the destruction seen in Luke chapter 18 verse 8.

Do you truly believe in the word of Jesus? Jesus said that the time of the second coming is like the days of Noah and Lot, or it was asked “will the number of people saved be great or few (Lk 13:23)”.

In Rev 13 and Mt 24, the subjects of the kingdom will be destroyed, thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Many will be harvested from the east and the west, and will take their places in the kingdom of heaven (Mt 8:11-12). Do you believe this? No, you wouldn’t!

From the era of Noah one era passes, and a new era comes. The era that passes is called the end of the age, and the time of Jesus’ second coming is said to be the end of the age (Mt 13). This time is the end of the spiritual Israel. Jesus, who will return, promised the creation of a new nation and new people, new heaven and new earth, the Twelve Tribes at a new era through his blood and he has fulfilled it today. They see yet they do not know, therefore they are dead, blind. The people of this era…

They still call themselves traditional. Are they any different from the past? How can these people look forward to eternal life that is promised in the Bible? How pitiful!

God’s goal during the time of the second coming is to create a new nation, the Twelve Tribes, by harvesting those who have been born of God’s seed. Everything else ends, therefore it is called the end of the age. There is only one way to be saved and that is boarding the ark (the Twelve Tribes). The qualification to board this ark to be born of God’s seed.

The CCK ended because God and the Word have left, Shincheonji will enter into heaven because God and the Word are together. Blind believers have the Bible and read it, but because they do not understand the true meaning, they fall into the fire of hell. Please, open your eyes.

*The CCK is an acronym for the Christian Council of Korea which is immersed in rampant corruption and abuse of power and authority.

On 23rd January 2020, JoongAng Ilbo/Daily published an article entitled ‘"May good health and fortune be with you!" New Year’s Greetings from Shincheonji Church of Jesus’. This is a translation of that article.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony announced on the 22nd January, 'New Year to all Koreans. May good health and fortune be with you.'

Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, "We, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, believe that the Republic of Korea will prosper this year and people will live in harmony and peace with one another. We've achieved a growth of 100,000 people under God’s guidance. History was made as more than 100,000 people joined Shincheonji Church of Jesus, where they heard and believed in the New Testament promises of the Bible."

"Shincheonji Church of Jesus also held dozens of Open Bible seminars nationwide to preach 'Gospel Fulfilment', and its congregation members became trumpets of God sounding these words to people. Shincheonji Church of Jesus' mission to create 'true faith in the Bible', clearly answering the question 'Who am I in the Bible?' - instead of having a 'superficial faith' - is what resulted in great success last year."

"We will do our best to help more people understand and believe in God's promise to return to dwell with creation on earth, as is recorded in the Bible. Our prayer is that people will discern between good and evil through the words of the Bible, remove prejudices created by people with vested interests, and understand and perceive how the promises of the Bible are being fulfilled so that they can receive all the blessings God wants to give."

Finally, Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, "Scripture can not be broken. The Bible proves that God is living and we hope that we can take a great leap forward this year in spreading the true word of Shincheonji Church of Jesus. I pray that you will receive many blessings and experience a New Year filled with grace and love."

Every New Year's service, the chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Man Hee Lee - who is the promised pastor who has seen and heard all the promised events recorded in Revelation (see Revelation 22:8,16) - announces the church's slogan for the year ahead. The slogan for 2019 was “The Year of the Creation of the Multitude in White and Victory Through the Seventh Trumpet.” This was fulfilled according to the Bible's promises. On 10th November 2019, Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted a graduation ceremony for 103,764 graduates from 113 countries; unprecedented growth by any religious institution's standards. Within just ten months, all 103,764 graduates had been evangelised, harvested and sealed with the word of Revelation through an intensive six-month Bible study course taught at one of 500 Bible-teaching Zion Mission Centers worldwide. Many more people also received Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Bible teachings through the Open Bible Seminar and online Bible studies.

Then, what was the slogan for 2020 announced at the 2019 New Year's Service?
“The Year of the Reign of God, the Last, Seventh Trumpet Sound, and the Completion of the Creation of the Multitude in White.” The 'seventh trumpet' is promised in Revelation 11 and the 'multitude in white' promised in Revelation 7 of the Bible:

In Revelation 11:15, it is written:
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

In Revelation 7:9, it is written:
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

According to the Bible's promises, the great multitude, countless in number, will flood to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (see Revelation 15:5). All people will soon know that Shincheonji Church of Jesus possesses the truth where there is clear and perfect understanding of God's will through the Bible.

During the New Year's Eve service, chairman Lee said, “Now is the time for God to rule over the world where Satan has been king. Let this year be of great glory to God. Let's be the light that glorifies God. Let the sound of the Seventh Trumpet spread everywhere. Then, the Multitude in White will come and Shincheonji Church will become God's great kingdom."

The era of God's reign where there is no more death, mourning, crying or pain is upon us, as promised in Revelation 21:4.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereafter ‘Shincheonji Church of Jesus’) sent shockwaves throughout the Christian world in 2019 in South Korea and overseas through its unprecedented graduation ceremony of 103,764 graduates that was held simultaneously in 113 countries on 10th November 2019. It also hosted the ‘Open Bible Seminar on The Second Coming and Harvest’ attended by 60,000 people in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) - with 6000 registering for Bible teaching - as well as various volunteer activities in communities through Shincheonji Volunteer Group. Founded in 1984, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is an abbreviation of “Shin-cheon-Shin-ji” - Chinese characters for “New Heaven New Earth”  - and is the promised church of the Bible.
The graduation of 103,764 Bible students from all ages and backgrounds has made evangelistic history and is unprecedented growth for any religious institution within just one year. Students who completed the intensive six-month Bible study programme at one of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' 500 Zion Mission Centres (Bible-teaching institutes) worldwide cited its 'Bible-centred teaching' as the main reason why they persevered through the Bible study programme. All graduates scored above 90% in their graduating exams, demonstrating mastery of the Bible. Let's look more deeply at what the Zion Mission Center curriculum offers.

Introductory
This is an introduction to the four categories of the Bible (history, instruction/teachings, prophecy and fulfillment) and teaches the true meaning of the parables. Jesus spoke about the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven in parables (Mt 13:10-11) and said that one must understand them in order to receive forgiveness of sin and receive salvation (Mk 4:10-14). Jesus also said that, when the time comes, the parables must be explained plainly (Jn 16:25). This course enables one to clearly understand the meaning of the parables and seal them in one’s heart.

Intermediate
This covers the major events of the Bible from Genesis to the prophets to the four Gospels, up until the penultimate book of the Bible, which is the book of Jude. It teaches students about some of the prophecies of the New Testament and how to differentiate between that which has been fulfilled (fulfilment) and is yet to be fulfilled (prophecy). Students are taught to categorise time, place, and characters correctly.

Advanced
Many different teachings on eschatology - the 'end times' recorded in the book of Revelation - are taught by many different pastors today. Some pastors teach that the number ‘666’ is a barcode, that the red dragon represents communism, that the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns represents the European Union, or that there will be an impending 'rapture'. However, these are all interpretations ('rapture' does not appear anywhere in the Bible). The Bible clearly says that anyone who adds or takes away from the book of Revelation will not be able to enter heaven (please read Rv 22:18-19).

Understanding the correct meaning of the book of Revelation is, therefore, of paramount importance. Students are taught about the meaning of the prophecies and fulfillment of the entire book of Revelation and, ultimately, records God's final plan to restore this broken world and return all creation back to Him to end death, mourning, crying and pain (Rv 21:4). It is extremely hopeful. Those who believe and keep the promise, at the time when the fulfillment of this promise is testified, will receive salvation and become the kingdom and priests of God.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus' slogan for 2020, which will be fulfilled this year, is ‘The Year of the Reign of God, the Last, Seventh Trumpet Sound, and the Completion of the Creation of the Multitude in White’. To this end, more than 200,000 people are currently studying the Bible either through Zion Mission Centers or online, and Shincheonji Church of Jesus is predicted to grow to one million believers by 2022. This is the greatest truth in 6000 years of Biblical history that is moving peoples' hearts throughout the world. In the recent words of one spokesperson of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, “We will continue to preach the living God through His word, transcending ethnicity, culture and religion.”

On 9th January 2018, Ms. Gu was asphyxiated to death by her parents in her fight against receiving 'coercive conversion' education from pastors. Following her death, a 120,000-strong rally was hosted in Seoul by HAC - an organisation founded in 2007 to support victims of human rights violations and protect one's freedom of religion - calling on the government to ban coercive conversion, punish pastors and shutdown the Christian Council of Korea (CCK). Rallies were held worldwide in dozens of cities including Washington D.C. and New York, with publicity from 221 US media channels including ABC, and 25,000 HAC members and citizens gathered outside the CCK's HQ in February 2018. 140,000 people signed a petition to the Blue House (Korean Presidential dwelling) calling for a ban on coercive conversion. At the 41st UN Human Rights Council held in July 2019, the European Council for Freedom of Conscience (CAP-LC) officially issued a condemnation statement on forced conversion in South Korea. On July 24th 2019, an open letter to the South Korean President Jae-In Moon, signed by 15 international NGOs including Human Rights Without Frontiers (HRWF), read, “South Korea may well be the last democratic country in the world where deprogramming is still tolerated”. The letter urged the president to “investigate in-depth accusations of forcible deprogramming, put a stop to this obnoxious practice, and hold those responsible fully accountable.” In August 2019, at a ministerial conference at the US State Department building, it was officially pointed out that Korea is the only democratic country where forced conversion is tolerated. Later on, in 29th November 2019, 80 legal experts, journalists and civil society representatives gathered in Seoul to participate in an human rights seminar entitled 'Intolerance and Discrimination Against New Religious Movements: An International Problem' hosted by Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR) and Human Rights Without Frontiers (HRWF) for the protection of religious minorities' rights, with a particular focus on 'coercive conversion'. Despite international pressure, the Korean government has done nothing to punish pastors, ban coercive conversion or shutdown the CCK. What makes this even more deplorable is the fact that, from 2008-2018, pastors affiliated to the CCK have been found guilty of 12,000 crimes including fraud, burglary, forgery, defamation, drink-driving, arson, sexual assault and murder. All this in a supposedly democratic country where freedom of religion is guaranteed within its Constitution.

It is, therefore, only right that these issues were raised on 18th January 2020. Preceding and following the memorial ceremony in Gwangju, HAC members - the majority who are themselves victims of the coercive conversion programme - held a campaign to inform and educate citizens on the seriousness of the practice through various booths.

Coercive conversion is a practice whereby pastors affiliated to the CCK, desiring power and money, deceive families into believing that their loved one has joined a cult. Upon the pastor's counsel, the family feeds their loved ones sleeping pills, drags them to a secluded location, robs them of their phones, confines them in handcuffs and subjects them to physical and psychological abuse until they renounce their beliefs and consent to receiving Presbyterian ‘conversion education’. Because pastors label this programme 'counselling', they mask their true intent for financial profit and evade the law, thereby bringing legal punishment on deceived family members. In Ms. Gu's case, it was the parents who were held fully responsible for their child's death.

According to an HAC report, the total number of coercive conversion victims from 2001-2019 was 1534, including assault (861), forced 'conversion education' therapy (1280), forced absence from school or work (1338), divorce (43), forced admission into mental wards (43) and deaths (2).
At the memorial ceremony, Mr. Kye-hwang Jang, chairman of the Historical Territorial Foundation of Korea, said, “Free will granted by God to human beings, and the freedom of human rights granted by the state to the people, are the rights of individuals that no one can infringe upon. Nevertheless, the life of Ms. Ji-In Gu was tragically taken. One's God-given freedom of religion was abused and human rights ruthlessly trampled on as they remain unprotected by the state." One college student in her twenties said, “I'm shocked that peoples' human rights have been abused to the extent that someone died in Gwangju - host of the World Human Rights Cities Forum. I hope that our country and all its citizens will continue to speak out so that such a tragedy will never recur.”

Coercive conversion is a criminal practice implemented by a criminal organisation that disguises itself behind the veil of religion. As this article goes out to print on 21st January 2020, dozens of people throughout South Korea are suffering silently, confined against their will in remote locations, for refusing to renounce their religious beliefs. Please help raise awareness.

“We will make Gospel Fulfillment the Basis of Religion”
Priestly Education for All Congregation Members
Purification of the Korean Church through Bible Education for Pastors…
Rapid Exponential Growth…342% Increase in Zion Mission Center Students

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony proclaimed this year as the first year of God’s reign, and pledged to make ‘Gospel Fulfillment’, which testifies the reality of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, the basis of religion this year.

In particular, it is expected to send shockwaves throughout the Christian world following the ceremony of 100,000 graduates as it reveals its ground-breaking plan to greatly expand its teaching of the word to pastors in the established Church, teaching them 'Gospel Fulfilment' to teach to their members.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus held its ‘Passover Feast Service and 36th Annual General Assembly’ to declare its vision and goals for this year at its headquarters church in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi province.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus showed the General Assembly and the 12 tribes last year’s achievements, major plans for the year ahead, the status of its branch church and mission centres in Korea and overseas, and indicators of its finances and real estate.

According to statistics released that day, the number of congregation members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus was 239,353 last December (205,044 domestically and 31,849 overseas), 18% more than 202,899 in December 2018. This increase was recorded.

Of the 100,000 graduates of Zion Mission Center last year, 36,454 people completed their final courses, which includes newcomers’ education, and were included within the official number of total congregation members at the end of the year. About 70,000 graduates will be included within this year’s tally of congregation members, with the total membership of the church expected to exceed 300,000.

Moreover, according to data released that day, Shincheonji Church of Jesus currently operates 108 branch churches (72 domestically) and 509 Zion Mission Center branches (306 domestically and 203 overseas) in 30 countries.

In particular, Zion Christian Mission Center, a free Bible teaching institute, registered a total of 108,331 people last year. This figure is an increase of 218.5% compared to the previous year (34,133). The number of last year’s graduates was 103,945, up 422.2% from the previous year (19,869).
The current number of students at Zion Mission Center is 80,490 (as of the end of last year), an increase of 341.8% compared to the previous year.

Congregation members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus confirmed that the reign of God is possible because the church possesses an outstanding word of ‘Gospel Fulfillment’, and they determined that they would be more committed to spreading it.

Specific action plans include △Purification of the Korean church through Bible education for pastors △Training 1000 lecturers and evangelists to establish more Zion Mission Centers △Hosting Zion Mission Center 100K Graduation Ceremony △Revitalization of Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ communications programs △Priestly education for all congregation members △Regular exams for lecturers and evangelists.

In particular, Bible education for pastors is its most prominent activity plan. In fact, over 100 pastors of the established Church are studying the Bible at Shincheonji Church of Jesus following its ‘Open Bible Seminar’ last year. This year, the plan is to increase the number of pastors it teaches to 1,000.

During his sermon, Chairman Man Hee Lee said, “Jesus gave us his flesh and blood through his sacrifice as the Passover Lamb in order to create a new kingdom and new people in a world where God will reign.” He emphasized, “We, who have perceived Jesus’ will, must do God’s work to repay God’s grace.”

“What must we do today? God has told us to be fruitful, increase in number, fill the earth, subdue and rule over it. Then a world where God reigns will be created. We must stop walking out a childish faith and fulfill God’s purpose.”

Finally, Chairman Lee said, “We have reported this year’s plan to God through today’s General Assembly. We must never live out a false or superficial life of faith.” “God helps us according to the effort we put in, so let’s fulfil God’s purpose as new people in a new age.”

On 31st December 2019, Busan Ilbo (Busan Daily) published an article entitled “'Shincheonji' Andrew Tribe Training Institute hosts final blood donation event of 2019.” This is a translation of that article.

The final blood donation event was held this year at Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Andrew Tribe Training Institute. 252 people from Shincheonji Volunteer Group participated in the event. (Photo provided by Shincheonji Volunteer Group's East Busan branch)

Blood donations have plunged due to the end of year and New Year holidays, alongside the bitter cold, leading to a nationwide shortage of blood supplies.

Moreover, as schools, which account for a high proportion of blood donations, are on holiday, hospitals have failed to receive half the amount of blood required.

It has always been difficult to supply blood in Busan where, in comparison to other regions, blood resources are low.

Amidst this climate, Shincheonji Volunteer Group's East Busan branch continues help give blood, becoming the 'light and salt' for Busan.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group's East Busan branch (managed by Se Seul-gi) donated four blood bank vehicles to the Korean Red Cross' Blood Center on New Year's Eve from 9am-5pm in Busan. People gathered to give blood.

Mr. Myung-ho Kim (25), who participated in making a blood donation, said, “I'd heard that blood donations drop sharply during the winter months, so I wanted to give blood. My mother was in great need of blood. I know this might be something small for local patients, but I hope it helps."

Ms. Sun-hee Lee (26), who also gave blood, said, “I thought I must do it if the need is there.” Ms. Lee said, “Shincheonji has been actively donating high amounts of blood in Busan. I hope this will help resolve existing prejudices and misunderstandings. I am actively involved in their volunteer work to make known that it is a good organisation."

This year (2019), more than 2000 people gave blood, which is more than 90% of the annual target of  2200 set by Busan Regional Religious Organization.

A spokesperson for Busan Blood Center said, “Blood donations are dropping sharply in the winter months and holidays. We rely heavily on teenagers and those in their twenties, so when the holidays come it's easy for blood supplies to fall." The spokesperson said, "Thank you for volunteering to give blood. Whenever we lead blood donation campaigns, you always participate willingly. Shincheonji Volunteer Group is an indispensable organization when it comes to aiding in blood supplies in Busan."

Shincheonji Volunteer Group's East Busan branch has participated in giving blood since 2012, with participation from more than 3300 people.

Shincheonji Volunteer Group received the 'President's Award' on November 13th for its contribution.

In response, Je Dong Seol-gi, head of East Busan branch, said, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus is actively carrying out voluntary community work that shares the Gospel throughout the region."

On 10th January 2020, Busan Ilbo (Busan Daily) published an article entitled “Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ 2020 New Year slogan: ‘The Era of God's reign.’” This is a translation of that article.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus’ New Year slogan for 2020 is “God's Reign, the Sound of the 7th Trumpet and the Year of the Completion of the Multitude in White”.

Accordingly, Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus said at the New Year Service, “God the Creator will now rule over this world where the serpent (Satan) has been king.”

The Chairman said, “The message from the angel Gabriel on that day two thousand years ago was ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests’. These words are being fulfilled today at the time of the Second Coming."

The Chairman added, “We’ve always wanted God and heaven, so we must always give thanks and glory to God because God is fulfilling it”, and, “Jesus' blood has purchased us to be a kingdom and priests of God. Let’s give thanks.”

Finally, the Chairman said, “Let God’s light shine this year. Let’s shine the light of God’s glory and help all people hear the sound of this (seventh) trumpet.” He reiterated, “Then the multitude in white will come and put their hope in this great kingdom of God.”

In addition, the Chairman said, “When we truly believe in God's work and run hard, heaven will help us. There will be a lot of great activity this year. Everything must change day by day.”

The Chairman said, “The new covenant, which is the New Testament - namely the prophecies of the four Gospels and the book of Revelation - must be fulfilled. As this is all promised, it doesn't make sense for it not to fulfil. It was recorded beforehand so that we would see and believe in it when it is fulfilled.” He repeatedly stated that prophecy is being fulfilled on the earth today.

"Scripture can not be broken," he said. “Those who are born of God’s seed are God’s family and will live with God forever. Those who are born of the devil’s seed will be judged in the lake of burning sulphur. You must know this. Shouldn’t I ask myself if I have been created according to this Bible?”

Shincheonji Church of Jesus sets its direction and vision to congregation members for the year ahead through its yearly New Year's slogan that is based on the Bible. This year’s slogan is for the advancement of the era of God's reign through the creation of the multitude in white by preaching the Gospel.

Last year, Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a graduation ceremony to declare an increase of 100,000 new graduates and also held its nationwide Open Bible Seminar to make known that God's kingdom is being fulfilled through the 12 tribes.

#PastorJeon #KoreanCCK #FakePastor #GOD #Shame #blasphemy #embezzle #malversation #Statement #SouthKorea
Worldwide newspapers and media are broadcasting the actions of Gwanghun Jeon, pastor and head of the Christian Council of Korea (CCK), who has blasphemed God, used religion to promote his own political agenda (violating the Korean constitution), and called for the resignation of Korean president, Jae-In Moon, claiming it was an order from God.

According to the New York Times, he has been blacklisted and prohibited from leaving the country on six counts of crime including instigating sedition, violation of regulations on donation collections, forming an anti-national organisation and organising a criminal group, among other charges. Moreover, he has spread extreme views on abortion and homosexuality and spread Islamophobia at rallies held throughout South Korea.

Pastors affiliated to the CCK (which bowed down to other gods during the Japanese colonial era) have been convicted of 12,000 crimes including burglary, sexual assault and murder from 2008-2018. They conduct ‘coercive conversion’ programmes in violation of human rights to prevent members of their congregation from moving to other churches. Christians in Korea are labelling pastor Jeon a “son of vipers” and the National Council of Churches in Korea have criticised him for generating mass hysteria among his followers.

Within the last year, hundreds of thousands of people both in South Korea and in dozens of countries around the world have united calling for a ban on coercive conversion and the shutdown of the CCK, with the United Nations urging the South Korean government to take measures against coercive conversion. The world is now petitioning for the immediate resignation of Pastor Jeon and the shutdown of the corrupt CCK, which has gathered 35,000 signatures so far.
