Shincheonji Seongnam Church, John Tribe, of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, held a '100,000 Graduation Ceremony Photo Exhibition Revisited' through the 'S-MAS Together' event to celebrate the end of the year, and it received a great response.

This photo exhibition, held on the 9th December, was prepared to commemorate the 100,000 graduation ceremony of Class 114 of the Zion Christian Mission Centre held in Daegu on the 12th of last month, and to provide an impression of the graduation ceremony to local residents who were unable to participate in person.

The photo exhibition held on the first floor of the church included a panoramic view of the 108,084 graduates, a mass card games performance by over 10,000 people, testimonials from representative graduates, the meaning of the Zion Christian Mission Centre, an opportunity to experience the graduation ceremony under the guidance of a docent, and the Shincheonji Bible Seminar held throughout the year.

In addition, participatory programmes such as photo zones and lectures were organised throughout the church, as well as a rest area where people could drink coffee. In addition, various performances including musicals, choirs, and orchestral carols provided warm emotions in the cold winter.

A visitor to the photo exhibition said, “I heard about the 100,000 graduation ceremony on the news, but seeing photos of the event gave me a real sense of its scale. I was surprised that so many people gathered and it was conducted in an orderly manner without any accidents.”

Another visitor said, “These days, there are a lot of believers who don’t go to church, so it was surprising to learn that the 100,000 graduation ceremonies have been held on three separate occasions.” He added, “I was stunned and encouraged to see the significant growth of Shincheonji in various environments. It really made me think.”

One resident who participated in all the events said, “Through this event, I was able to feel the Christmas atmosphere and spend an enjoyable time with my wife for the first time in a long while.” He added, “I was able to understand more about my wife’s faith and it was an opportunity to resolve my prejudices against the church.”

Head lecturer Man-gi Jin of Shincheonji Seongnam Church said, “Last month, the third 100,000 graduation ceremony was held and it became a big topic worldwide, and we have now prepared a photo exhibition to inform local residents about it.” “We hope to host this exhibition until the end of the year,” he said.

Meanwhile, this year's graduation ceremony attracted attention by producing 108,084 graduates, following 103,764 in 2019 and 106,186 in 2022.
